This is a nice, solid pizza knife. It works very well on the thin crust pizzas I eat here, no idea about other kinds. Quite a bit pricier than a basic cutter from IKEA or even Amazon, but I'm happy with the sturdy feel and comfy grip.

Kitchen aid has crafted a stylish little pizza cutter that is durable and equipped to breeze through even the thickest crust. It is hefty, and has quite a substantial feel in your hand. The handle is plastic, but the item has a premium feel to it, with no loose parts and squeaking plastic. The blade itself is quite thick with a good tapper - sharp enough to cut through any crust, and strong enough to withstand an aggressive pressure. It will not buckle or bend like some cheap pizza cutter.As some have said, the center screw/nut may be prone to rust, but I find that you can avoid rust on any kitchen equipment with proper care. I like to use some kind of oil to coat screws and nuts and help protect them from water moisture. But the most important thing is to wash them shortly after use, and HAND DRY the item! Seriously, lots of things will rust if you let them sit and soak in dishwater and then air dry. You can avoid rust entirely but properly caring for your things!Conclusion, great little cutter, very stylish, very durable.

My husband loves this. He is very protective of his pizza cutter and had worn out the last one after 15 years. So nice and sharp
