Perfect complement to Logitech Home Control remote!
It probably seems backwards; but, I started playing around with automated lights after getting a Logitech Home Control Remote .I started exploring what options were available that worked with that remote - and this definitely seemed like the best option.Using the Lutron Caseta Wireless Dimmers on their own works pretty well; but, they are awesome when used with this Smart Bridge! Using the Smart Bridge, it's easy to link remotes to multiple lights in whatever way you want. For example, the switch outside our bedroom now turns off all the lights downstairs when we head into our room at night. On top of that, the scheduling options make this an incredibly useful addition to our home - and it's easy to schedule based on a time, or you can use an offset from either sunset or sunrise. With those options, I can turn the porch light on automatically at sunset - and then they turn off again at sunrise. We have night lights in the kitchen that turn on at sunset, dim a couple of hours later so they aren't distracting when we're watching TV, then they turn themselves off at midnight. Those kind of options are great - and it's even better when combined with the Logitech remote, which adds even more features: like turning off the living room light automatically when the TV turns on (but only after sunset). We have a small lamp that turns itself on when the TV turns off so we can see, but the light isn't too bright. Lights can also be turned on/off or dimmed either individually or in groups using the remote. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have to say this is an excellent little device:1) It's tiny - about the size of a Roku, or a hockey puck. I was able to stash it in the back of a cabinet where it works perfectly well.2) It's super easy to setup using the Android app. It only took a few minutes to get the first light attached, and each additional light was even easier. It's also extremely easy to sync new switches to the Logitech remote using their Android app.3) It has been 100% reliable on the scheduling; and, once setup, it's something that just works without needing any additional work. That's exactly how a home automation device should be!At the end of the day, I can't say enough good about this Smart Bridge! We're using it with a combination of dimmers, switches (which were actually hard to find), Pico remotes, and lamp plugs - so we're able to control just about everything downstairs now. If you want to play around with home automation, I would definitely recommend using the Caseta switches together with this bridge!

Outstanding concept, needs some manufacturing QC work
The unit I received has some kind of loose connection in the power connector. It has to be positioned perfectly right in order for power to get to the unit. On the positive side, when it is powered, a quick glance in that direction tells you so, because the horizontal line around the unit is actually an LED that lights up as a power indicator. On the negative side, and this would be a huge negative, when this unit fails, none of the switches connected to it work--meaning you may need a flashlight to get to the closet where this bridge Is located. I haven't tried attaching other devices, such as door locks, to this bridge, but that would evoke an entirely new level of problems if your kids couldn't get into the house from the cold while you were at work, all because of a loose power connection in this bridge....

I am not particularly tech savvy. I have ADT house automation with several of my lights controlled by their devices which work just fine. I thought this may be a cheaper alternative. It was! I connected the hub to an ethernet outlet (instead of wireless). It took a few minutes and it was ready to go. I downloaded the app and went to every light switch (I had already installed 3 plus 3 remotes) and synched them using with them one by one. I took seconds for each. They showed up on the app as light switches that can be dimmed. The range of the hub is really good. I have the hub on the second floor and and the 2 of the switches are in the basement. Overall, I could not be happier. It all works so well and so far without a glitch.I dont know what else to add. It works and its easy to set up. I just ordered six more switches. Its kinda fun to spook people at my home when I am travelling!

Great replacement option for the Wink Hub
The media could not be loaded. Assuming you have Lutron wall dimmer switches for your home, this would be a great viable option to replace your wink hub. I grew tired of the wink service interruption and their monthly $5/monthly service charge.I finally researched for options via Reddit and Amazon and this fit the bill. Intuitive app, no monthly service fee and integration with Alexa.I highly recommend IF you have Lutron dimmer switches. Caveat when replacing the Wink Hub is to unpair your Lutron switches first before pairing it to the Lutron Bridge. Otherwise you’ll not pair at the initial setup.

Seems to work OK but initial set up issues are worse than the reviews say
I wanted the Lutron bridge to interface with a Ring doorbell to turn on a floodlight - And then turn the floodlight off after x minutes.Amazon reviews are mixed on the hit-or-miss problems with initial set up on this item. I was one of the hits. My initial attempt was no go. The unit refused to connect to my WiFi even with everything sitting right next to each other. After multiple tries plus resetting the bridge, uninstall-reinstall the app, resetting my wifi router and several combinations of the above yielded nothing I started the return process. Just before the final shutdown I gave it one last try and it connected.I'm keeping it now but I'm just one hiccup away from returning it.

so cool. The set up was way faster than the ...
Wow. I was a skeptic at first.... Not any more ! The geofencing is so helpful. If you are asking "what the heck is geofencing?" You are where I was a couple weeks ago. I have it set up so that when I come home after dark the garage lights come on the entry lights come on basically my path is illuminated in front of me as if I were a king... I can't tell enough friends about this, so cool. The set up was way faster than the competitors products, the plug and play has been super fast. The dimming is in real time not the second or two comm lag between switching and seeing it happen. I think anyone with a smart phone , and likes convenience needs to purchase the Caseta products!! You can set up scenes , like I have an art scene which is all my paintings, or a movie night scene which takes the lights and dims them to 10%.
