By accident I placed a plastic container on a hot stove burner. Needless to say, it was impossible to clean, so I had to order a new one. I've never done this before, and was a bit anxious over how it would fit my older stove. The replacement arrived very quickly, and was a perfect fit that works great.

Ordered these for a 70's Fridgidaire cooktop. (The old brown kind) Thank goodness these are sold separate because my model has one 8" burner and three 6" burners and most sets are sold with two of each.Very easy to install. After installing, turn on Hi for about 5 minutes to get rid of whatever they put on them. It will smoke like crazy in the beginning and it stinks. That's why you should do it before you're going to cook food. I'd recommend these!

6 inch Range Burner Element may require modification
Installed 660532 MP15YA electric range burner element and it did not sit flush. Tried a few different ideas that did not work . Finally got the leg furthest away to sit flush by using a wheel grinder and taking a little off the 2 legs near the electric terminals. After that, I turned the burner on high to burn off the coating. See picture to see one of the legs I ground off.
