I'm really happy that I got this sleek, high-end steamer. I was hesitant to pay full price for this since there are many, much cheaper, and much more compact, handheld travel steamers out there. I had a cheaper $18 steamer for a couple years, and I ended up using it so much that I thought it might be worth it to try a better one. The other steamer sputtered out water droplets onto my floor when steaming (I would have to lay a bath towel down on the floor), and got a little buildup of minerals and stuff on the inside between steamings (easily removed with citric acid and water, but it was still an added step). But overall, it pretty much got the job done. I had heard a few reviews saying this Steamery steamer is much better than the $18 ones. I finally bit the bullet, and I'm so glad I did.The steam is less strong, but so even and so steady, you can really see the wrinkles releasing as you steam instead of mostly just seeing the steam lines, and no sputtering of water droplets onto the floor. The tip to steam from the inside of the garment really helps! I like that you can use this kinda like an iron with the large metal plate, because it helps with thicker fabrics or more stubborn wrinkles.The 6 minute steaming time capacity is fine. Because it's a little bit more enjoyable to steam, I steam a bit more often and so only have to do a few garments at a time - less than 6 minutes. There's no "cool-down" time needed to refill the water if needed, since the water container is integrated into the handle. The handle is comfortable to hold and functionally designed, but might get too heavy if you were holding it for a long time and raising your arm up and down to steam for much longer than that. There are a few pauses needed (the light turns orange after steaming for a minute), but then it turns green right away, within a few seconds, and you can steam again. The initial warm up time is very fast, too.I've traveled with the steamer and it does take quite a bit of space in a continental carry-on, but because it's so easy to set up and works so effectively, I've actually enjoyed traveling with it (to remove any odors from my garments before meetings from my suitcase or that hotel smell or from airplane travel). Just gives me an extra boost of confidence in feeling a bit more fresh and put together. The heat-resistant travel bag that it comes with is really handy for packing this up and not having wires hang out in my suitcase. The instructions say that you can use it as a mitten to hold your clothing as you steam, but I just steam without it, and I also haven't really felt the need to use the attachment yet.This is worth the extra money if you steam frequently. If you don't, the cheaper one might be sufficient to meet your needs. But as someone who doesn't like to iron, wants to lower dry cleaning frequency, takes gently used clothes to consignment or donation shops, and travels for meetings often, it has been a real treat to have this steamer.Full disclosure: These are my honest opinions of the pros and cons of this steamer from my experience of using it and other steamers. The store noted they'd credit a small percentage of my purchase if I left an honest Amazon review as they get started as an Amazon seller. The note also thanked me for my purchase, and the sellers noted that they're available to answer any questions about the product, which was nice.

I purchased this steamer for travel and was very surprised how heavy it was to pack so I decided not to take it along. I tried it 2-3 times and thought it did an OK job but definitely not like an iron would do. I went to use it again a few months later and the steamer would not heat up. Since Amazon will only accept returns within 30 days (I have had the iron for under 4 months) I could not replace or return this faulty product. Also the Steamery company apparently will not support their products if not bought directly even though the steamer has a 1 year warranty. Buyer beware!

This is an all around incredible product. The first one I received did not work correctly and the seller immediately replaced and the replacement works great. From how this product looks to how it feels to how well it steams clothing, I’m very happy with it.

I bought this 6 months ago in October. I used it once a week. Over time it got weaker and weaker and now barely any steam comes out.

I first discovered this product in a hotel room. It worked a charm. It is truly fantastic both at home and for travel. Gorgeously designed and does exactly what it is meant to do – ease of use – wrinkles out – easily storable and portable. I highly recommend this product if you are a discerning traveller that always wants to look wrinkle free and beautifully turned out. Extremely good price for the quality and value you will get

The design is beautiful and minimalistic and it steams well. However, you have to hold the Steam button the entire time you steam. The water reservoir is also very small and since it’s placed inside the steamer, you don’t know right away when you have to refill. It took 2 refills to steam a cotton midi dress. For this kind of money, it should steam by itself!! Will return and look for something else.

I’ve been eyeing this steamer for a while now since stumbling across steamery on instagram. I’ve never owned a steamer and my only experience taking care of my clothing was using an iron, so I really didn’t know what to expect. This seemed like a good investment in my clothing. When I received it, I started off slowly steaming a light summer dress. Once I got the hang of it, the results were great. I then tried a silk skirt which I got the same kind of results as the dress.Overall I’m happy with my purchase and had no issues. I would just suggest reading your instructions thoroughly and taking your time using it. It’s a beautiful and minimalistic product that takes care of your clothing and will double as a good looking product in your home.

Purchased this as my old Conair steamer was starting to malfunction and I loved the look of this one. It’s the same size as what I’m used to, but the product itself is gorgeous. Every aspect of it aesthetically is impeccable, and it functions beautifully- heats up quickly, de-wrinkles as it’s supposed to with ease. I unpacked it right away and used it to steam a new linen shower curtain I’d just gotten and it did so with ease.The premium packaging is also worth mentioning as I will be repurposing the box for storage. Some things I also loved but didn’t see pictured in the product description- a leather fastener on the cord that is both fashionable & functional for tangle-free storage, as well as a carrying case that doubles as a protective mitt. Very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with purchase. Great for travel. Heats up quickly! Will likely replace my larger stand steamer at home for quick refreshes on single items.

This product was defective and did not emit any steam. We did all troubleshooting in accordance with instructions and could not get it to work.

I absolutely love this steamer. I took me a bit of time to get used to the weight (it's heavy and a bit bulky) but once I did, I was able to steam multiple items on just the one small tank of water.I wish they made a small travel version. I'd snap it up instantly.

Water reservoir way too small to be useful on this beautiful steamer. The steamer is nice to grip in the hand allowing for easy maneuverability so the water reservoir design flaw is such a tragedy.
