DO NOT PURCHASE!
It's a very nice product, but it is VERY DIFFICULT trying to contact URIVE to find out how I go about ordering a cig lighter adapter and the external GPS module. A post on their Facebook page went nowhere and an E-mail sent was useless. UPDATE............DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK, IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE SMARTPHONE APP.

Proceed with caution
I have this installed on my 2015 F150 truck and it was done by a pro - install was about 150$. The system is pretty straight forward and the lens quality are relatively good on both sides as it does 1080p and 720p recording [front/back]. Depending on which unit you purchase [or as an addon] you are able to get the GPS module and it tracks speed and location as well[via google maps]. The software is available on the iphone/android family of devices and as a software [english/kr] download from their website. The system includes a 16GB card upgradable to 32gb [which I advise, as 24hrs will bank about 20GB of data]. The system automatically erases the oldest memory and you can even protect certain records by manually hitting the record button. The system is always on and therefore it has sensors that detect impacts while the vehicle is off, excellent for fending off claims on people backing into or driving into your car. The units come installed with the latest firmware [but not the latest software]. So far so good.The bad;The android software is DOA - it refuses to connect to its wifi part of this i-shotgun which is necessary to pair it with your device, why they have not used blu tooth in 2015 is beyond me. Instead you have an ugly dongle plugged into the unit. Therefore I do recommend the non wifi version UNLESS you have an iphone/idevice.My friend has this unit and there are 0 issues connecting the app to the ishotgun via the iphone[pairs automatically vs the manual setup on android]. Unfortunately i do not have a phone with an SD card slot therefore I cannot vouch for the validity of the sdcard reader part of the program on Android.The software is also problematic. The newest version dated 05/2015 does NOT work under windows 7/8/10 at this present time. I do not believe its a compatibility issue as the problem is the same across all windows versions. The SDcard is detected when plugged into your PC but it refuses to read the files. If you click on their folder to manually open a file it will cause a crash to desktop.2 solutions to the PC software.1 - View the files manually thru your SD card, you will NOT have access to speed or location data if using the GPS feature.2 - Download the alternative software for its cousin product URIVE shotgun - the software is dated 2014 BUT it works flawlessly with the recordings. The only lacking item between the two software is that if you want to manually select occurrences between parking vs moving or both. Other then that they are identical.3 - Unless you read/write Korean you are going to be SOL with trouble shooting. Not many options will be available since the manual is poorly written and their tech support will reply in the same fashion. You CAN get a general feel as to what the manual tells you, so its a start.

Poor & Confusing Instructions
When i received it the only instructions in the box were in Korean. So I contacted seller and he directed me to a place online where there was instructions in English. These English instructions are extremely poorly written and confusing, next to useless that I wish I hadn't bought this product
