This shelving unit is fantastic! It was super easy and, dare I say, almost fun to assemble. The wood shelves look slightly different on each side so you can choose which you like better.We installed it next to our front door and the fact that it attaches to the wall is particularly beneficial here because our two big, clumsy dogs constantly bump into it and jump around it when it's time to go for a w-a-l-k. We wanted something low profile for that reason as well and it definitely delivers.We did not screw it into the floor but instead bought felt floor protectors and cut/stuck them to the bottom. It barely moves despite the fact that it's only secured into the wall.

Looks great in my client's vintage industrial home office! Love the finished product, but had some issues which make me knock down a star. The pipes look like black iron but I believe they are actually a soft aluminum. This was an issue because one of the pipes came squished. It was more oval shaped and wouldn't fit in the connecting round pipe. I was able to use a rubber mallet, luckily, to reshape it and it fit. I assemble furniture frequently for myself and clients, and I'd rate these assembly instructions as pretty bad. The instructions have only pictures, but are not as intuitive as IKEA instructions, for example. There are a few different pipes whose lengths didn't match the diagrams, making it confusing which piece went where. It was only when I abandoned the instructions that I was able to figure it out on my own. Also note that you will need to assemble just up to the bottom shelf, then use it as a template to measure where to drill the holes in the floor, then disassemble, drill the bottom pieces in, then assemble the rest of the shelf. If not, you will get the entire thing assembled, then realize there's not enough clearance to get a drill or screw driver to screw in the bottom.

We needed a shelf solution for our home library, and something that was easy to put together and looked nice. After reading so many reviews and looking at all kinds of options, I went with these and we love them! The shelves are SO EASY to put together and feel really sturdy once anchored to the wall... the metal poles go through the predrilled holes in the (real) wood and screw to the next metal pole. Super simple! We ordered a couple extra boxes so that we could add an extra shelf to each one and make them floor to ceiling - that worked perfectly. There are several ways you could customize.

The media could not be loaded.  See photos. We bought 3 sets of this one and 2 smaller ones to make a wall unit because we have an 86 in tv so it was hard to find something for the wall. We love how it came out. We used 2 shelves from the other package to make longer. Regularly they have 5 shelves, we made them 6 long. So you can make longer or shorter. We screwed into ceiling and the wall going ceiling down but you and reverse it and do bottom up the wall. We liked the way it looked starting from top to bottom.

I absolutely LOVE this shelving unit! It is sturdy and very aesthetically pleasing. I have a very small laundry room - space for only a washer and dryer. This unit is perfect for my laundry supplies and leaves just enough room for me to stand in front and load my washer. The depth of the unit is 10 inches - the planks are pretty much flush with the wall. In all honesty, I was reluctant to purchase this based upon reviews of assembly. Assembly instructions were included in my order, though the most important part is the picture of assembly. Pay close attention to how the fittings (connector joints) sandwich each wood plank. I followed another reviewer’s suggestion and laid each pipe side by side to match up the lengths. There were slight variations from pipe to pipe, but I was able to match each one to another of the same size. There are 10 pipe pieces, so you will have 5 sets. It’s important to match them up, if you want the shelves as level as possible. Each of the 10 longer pipes come with a fitting, or connector joint, already attached. The instructions do not state this, BUT you need to unscrew the connector joint and screw it onto the other end of the pipe it is already attached to. Tighten all pieces, by hand, before matching the lengths. After this, assembly is easy peasy short and breezy! The only mistake I made (totally my fault) was mixing up the placement of the pipe pieces at the top where it angles to anchor to the wall. There are two short and two slightly longer pieces. The shorter ones connect to the connector on top of the top shelf. The longer ones go from the corner joint to the wall anchor piece. I accidentally reversed them and quickly discovered there was about an inch gap when placing the unit up against the wall to anchor it. I switched the pieces and all was right with the world. After placing the unit EXACTLY where I wanted it, I used a pencil to mark the holes, moved the unit aside, and drilled. This was seriously one of the easiest things I have ever assembled! Like others have said, there is no need to anchor this unit to the floor, though there are holes and screws to do so. I have already recommended this product to a good friend who is looking for shelving for a small space. If I can find a place to put another one somewhere in my house, I will totally buy another without reservation!

1) I ordered this on Monday with a delivery day of Thursday. It was delivered early afternoon the next day!2) It was soo easy to put together. I did it myself in 10 minutes!3) It doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. It fit perfectly in my narrow space in the bathroom. Shelving space is the perfect amount for me and my husband.4) This shelf, matching industrial toilet paper holder, industrial hooks, new medicine cabinet, new paint color, and new hotel style shower curtain really transformed my tiny master bathroom into a spa-like sanctuary. A makeover for under $500 without an expensive remodel!Note: When measuring your space, consider adding the height of each shelf as well in addition to the 12” height between shelves. Luckily for me, I needed the 4th shelf level to clear my light switch...and it did!

I was worried it wouldn't be strudy enough for books, but it is and I love the look. You can do it as one person, but I'd suggest 2 people just to hold it against the wall while anyther one is screwing it in and such. Even without being in a 2x4 and just using the plastic screw locks, it's still sturdy. They give you enough screws and plastic locks to screw the top and bottom, but we only screwed in the top as we didn't want to ruin out hardwood floors. If you are scared about that, just add a bracket at the bottom. Shelves had a different style on each side so you could choose the look you want and it's nice, easy and straightforward.

Love this bookcase ! At first I was hesitant if I should or shouldn’t order it as there were some good and not so good reviews. Decided to take a chance as I loved the look of this unit and I was not disappointed. So easy to assemble and mount to the wall. Looks so slick, modern not too rustic and goes perfect with my decor. Wood shelves could be easily repainted or restainedif somebody decides to change the look. I do not plan to put any heavy items on it, but the bookcase is sturdy to carry load of books and any like items. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Loved how easy the shelving was to put together and that all the holes were pre-drilled in the REAL wood shelves. Installation is doable alone, but definitely easier with two people. Make sure you have a level of some kind! Comes with all the anchors and screws to install, and the anchors were nicer than most of the "free with purchase" ones.The only two downsides are:1. The underside of the shelving is not stained, so you can notice a different colour from the bottom (if you're actively looking, as it is pretty close).2. If you aren't screwing the baseplates into your flooring, a rubber pad underneath (we used old mason jar gaskets) to prevent the possibility of the feet slipping is benefical.So happy with the purchase! Just as durable as building out of parts from your homecenter store, but without the hassle of doing maths. And no MDF or plywood to be found!

I wanted 2 shelves that would be approx 96" tall, but couldn't find any that met my specifications, so I purchased 3 of theses six-tiered shelves and built them into 2 seven-tiered shelves. I also used extra pieces to create a customized middle pipe anchor on both shelving units to provide a unique look and added sturdiness. I'm super happy with how they turned out. Would've given 5 stars if I didn't have to buy 3 separate shelves to make what I wanted and if the wood shelves had the same stain on both sides.
