Overall this was a good purchase and met my expectations. The flexible light colors are a boon to people who want to change the lighting based on their mood (using a remote that doesn't force you to disassemble the fixture is also nice). The look is unique, which is a huge value in a world where all lights try to look the same. The installation was easy and all parts were included. The price is very reasonable for what you receive (a bright fixture with a unique look and the ability to easily change colors). The one downside is that the bowl is made of very thin/cheap plastic. To be fair, you don't need thick plastic once it's installed, though I worried about breaking it during the installation. The problem is that once installed, the bowl is visible and looks like cheap plastic (you can only see the bowl when the light is off). Higher-end plastic and glass pieces just look a little different. If you mostly keep the light turned on, you (or your guests) may never notice. If you are buying this fixture to make a statement, just keep in mind that you should turn on the lights before your guests arrive.

PAINFUL INSTALLATION!!! we ordered this for our daughter’s nursery and HOLY MADE IN CHINA this was RIDICULOUS to install for several reasons!1) the light is to be screwed into the drywall, not a bracket. thankfully it’s very lightweight, but this is slightly concerning because it’s not as secure as it would be if fastened to a bracket like most lights or fans are.2) the coloring of the wires for this light is off- not the universal black/white/green, but rather reddish brown, blue, and yellow green. SPOILER ALERT: reddish brown is your live/positive wire(pair with black) blue is the dead/negative wire (pair with white) and the yellow green is your ground wire. the instructions are super vague and explain NOTHING so we had to google and hold our breath we were guessing correctly.3) the lighting on the inside is an LED strip- so if this were to go bad or burn out- you’re gonna have to buy a whole new light. there’s no lightbulb to replace like in a traditional light.HOWEVER- once it was finally up and completed I am thrilled with the final result!! the remote allows you to change the shade from a LED to soft/yellow light, in addition to being dimmable. pictured is the LED on the brightest option. Cosmetically it is very pleasing and will go with the theme of the nursery great. just crossing my fingers that it lasts since it is clearly a cheaply made light.

#1. Fixture does not have any mounting holes for the standard J-box, only 4 holes on the outer edges, which is definite omission... fine, a little bit of measuring and drilling can fix that...#2. Remote control works ERRATICALLY: it works, then it doesn't... as it is pleased#3. Every flip of the switch it gets to new brightness and color temperature... add rarely working remote to that and it is NOT USABLE#4. It is NOT 3200 lumen for sure, it's probably 50-60% of thatOther than that, it produces light, you can not deny that, but is the price paid worth it?Not for me, it goes back to Amazon 1 hour after I received it.

It’s an “alright” looking light but definitely looks cheap if you really look at it. I also hate that the light tone I pick does not stay. Every time we turn the light on it’s back to the bright light when I like the warm light. The remote really doesn’t do much either and never use it.

This light is excellent. The reasons I did not give all stars is that it did not have directions for the remote and the directions for instillation is vague. If I didn’t already know how to install electrical products, I would have had to hire someone to do it. All in all the light it’s self is a good buy.

There were zero instructions with the light. My husband is an electrician and luckily figured it out but he said there was a possibility of frying it when installing if he chose the other wire. The remote works but half the buttons are opposite and it really has to be pointed directly at the light. It's a cheap light so don't expect too much. It'll work for me because it's just to brighten up the small nursery. If it were for any other room, I'd return it. It does look cute though, just like the picture.

This light was really easy to install and is way brighter than the one we had. My girlfriend absolutely loves it! The remote is a great added feature!

The light is ok, not bad but the remote was in chinese. Pretty bright but you can tell it was made very cheap but still a decent light.
