Don't Waste your Money
I should have returned this the day it arrived but I didn't get around to using it for over a year. I bought it specifically for the fluted wheel. The photo shown of ravioli with fluted edges is complete BUNK. At best it makes a sloppy cut with barely visible fluting.I have since purchased a FLUTED PASTRY CUTTER from W-S.Ironic that they show mostly photos of pizza since it isn't described as a pizza cutter. Most pizza cutters have a larger wheel and, for similar Chinese quality, can be bought at dollar stores.

It looks like it has been sitting in a warehouse forever or that has been used before and then returned.

It might work better on other materials
The crimp isn't as pronounced as I had hoped. That said, I'm using this for pie crust and not ravioli. It might work better on other materials.

Great inexpensive ravioli cutter
I love getting the chance to make homemade pasta. It really is easy and I should do it on a more regular basis. And ravioli at home is SOOO much better than store purchased. And anytime I can get my kids in the kitchen helping, it makes it even more worthwhile. I used to have the Kitchenaid ravioli maker and that is a hot mess. I love to make homemade ravioli, I just never got a cutter to do so. We had an absolute blast making them and they were DELICIOUS! The cutter was easy to use, my 15 and 6 year old were able to use it without any difficulty. It has 2 cutters, one that has the trademark pinking shear type cutter that we all know from commercial raviolis. The other cutter is smooth and we used to trim dough. The handle is smooth and was small enough for my kids to use, but big enough to be comfortable in my hands. It was easy to clean, soooo much easier than the previous ravioli maker I had. Over all I am very happy with this cutter and will make more pasta in the future.Disclaimer: I received this product at a reduced price for a fair, honest review. Reduced price or not I am STILL spending my hard earned money and my time, which is extremely limited. I pride myself on an HONEST review and am NEVER influenced because I got the item at a discount. I am not affiliated with this company and receive NO compensation for my unbiased review. So I do not automatically give a 5 star review, that is earned only by being an excellent product, in my opinion. When a product is not of good quality, I will communicate with the seller, so they can consider product improvement and offer a better product to buyers and write the review accordingly.

Great for making "pastel"
This is exactly what I needed to make a brazilian snack called pastel. I use the sharp edge to cut the sheet dough and the ridged placed to bind the dough. The handle has a good grip and it works really well. It's kind of hard to wash between two blades, I had to use a brush to get in between the blades. I didn't know this tool still existed so it was awesome to find it because my old one is very old.

Didn’t meet my expectations
Since I’ve started learning how to make ravioli for me and my boyfriend, I knew that it would be a good idea to invest in a ravioli cutter!I was extremely excited to use the squiggly side to give my ravioli that “shark bite” edge instead of the simple straight cut. However, this is where the ravioli cutter failed me. The squiggly lines don’t show up at all which is a huge bummer :(You’re better off just using a pizza cutter if you have one!
