Happy with these natural-looking shoulder pads.
These are the best shoulder pads for giving a gentle enhancement to your shoulders, thereby providing a subtle and natural filling out of the area. Clothing (tops, blouses, sweaters, and dresses) drapes better when wearing these. The saying "Look better, feel better" certainly applies to the wearing of shoulder pads for me. I have small, sloping shoulders which need a little padding in order for my body to look more proportionate. The older, obvious pads of the 80's have been replaced with these subtle ones. I have both the petite and the slimline pads. The slimline ones are the smallest, while the petite are a little larger and slightly thicker. Both are good, but the slimline gets the most use in my wardrobe.I have not had the issue of tearing of the flap because I don't use them. I just slip the pads under my bra straps and put my top on. They stay in place pretty well that way most of the time due to the texture of the foam and don't tear. Wearing them under the bra straps allows them to last for at least a few years.I wash these periodically with whatever bar hand soap is on my sink at the time and let them air dry. Occasionally cleaning them of body oils and dead skin cells will keep them smelling fresh and will also prolong the life as skin oils will degrade all foam over time. The color charges over time from a light Caucasian skin- tone to a pale to medium yellow. That's the nature of foam over time.I give these pads 5 stars and a thumbs up.Thank you for taking the time to read this review. not great.
I have narrow shoulders, and shoulder pads help hold the shape of the tops I'm wearing. However, these pads aren't secure and slide around. Not a good look unless, of course, you like having your shoulders leaning off your back or toward your armpit in front. Ahh, not! hahahaPs. can't wait until manufacturers begin to add shoulder pads to their garments again.

Works fine so far
Have stayed put so far after about 4 wearings. The flap to but under the bra strap is pretty flimsy, so I just don't use.

A little small
Smaller and thinner than expected. But will do! Havent found the right pair like the ones I had in the 90's!

They're good
I love that shoulder pads have made a comeback. I've always loved wider shoulders on women. They make you look skinnier from the shoulders down and that is why models who do photo shoots use them under sweaters, tops, and light weight jackets. I'm 5 10' tall and of average weight although I would like to be 10 pounds skinnier like I was 10 years ago. LOL. But these as you can see come in 3 sizes. I thought being tall I should order the largest size. Now I'm not saying I look like a Linebacker from the 49ers when I wear these, but I'm ordering the next size down. They should be perfect. One more thing. I saw the comments where women were complaining about the strap insert breaking. Well the good news is you don't even need them. Just slide them underneath your top and position to your liking and they stay put. The foam "grabs" the fabric and they don't move around at all.

Not good
I wanted shoulder pads that I didn’t have to sew into my clothes. Bought these because I supposedly could slide them under my bra straps using the little tab underneath the pad. I also wanted to be able to transfer them into other clothing as necessary. These shoulder pads are not good. They slide all over the place! I tried putting them on before I put on my sweater and they popped out of the neckline. I tried placing them after I put on my blouse and they still shifted around. They will not stay in place or stay secure under clothing! Will be returning and looking for something else. Do not recommend.

Nice and round edges. And Foam stays in place the best. TY.

Pleased with this product
I am very pleased with these. They are more molded than I expected. This expectation was based on comparison to others I have that are foam but are softer. I was comparison shopping and my experience was that this product wanted to default to slim line in the natural. I definitely wanted charcoal and regular. It has been quite some time since I bought shoulder pads and didn't realize what "flaps" meant. I don't always wear a bra, sometimes I wear a bandeau bra, and sometimes a sport style bra (which for me would make using the flaps too close to the neck). So, I don't imagine I will be using the flaps at all.I gave these a trial run, under a t-shirt, and not using the flaps. Shopped for groceries, unloaded my car, put things away and they stayed secure. I think they will do well under heavier weight clothing. Oh- for no real reason, after wearing them that first time- which was right after receiving them, I hand washed them. Air drying took some time but they retained their shape well.
