Feels good, and works very well
I bought the Timemore Black Mirror scale to replace a more generic scale I had before that broke within a year. This feels weightier and is far more responsive. I use a Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine, and it doesnt leave have a lot of space for making a espresso if you put it on top of the drip tray, if you use a spouted portafilter. This could easily be mitigated by using a bottomless portafilter, or removing the drip tray.I cant comment on longevity as I have only used it a handful of times. I will update if I have any problems, but otherwise I would recommend buying it!

Very happy
Does exactly what is needed and an upgrade from my previous Hario. I really like the USB charging (no more hunting around for AAA batteries under the stairs). It is accurate, and looks good, especially with the led display (rather than lcd on my old scales). The silicon mat is also a nice touch.

Great for dosing your coffee!
Use it almost everyday. Great for dosing your coffee, fits perfectly under espresso machine and the USB-C charging port is spot on. My only gripe would be you have to touch the pad to start the timer instead of it being automatic. Saying that I would still recommend it 👌

Scale died after 4 months of using
Got this scale and was super excited to use it. I used it for few months - since July up until few days ago when it just stopped measuring the weight. The timer still works, and I tried restarting, charging, moving to different flat surfaces to figure out whether I am doing anything wrong and it just doesn’t work anymore. Definitely not buying this product again, and for a scale with such a high price tag, I was expecting it to perform for years.

Worked well for a few months then gradually started becoming difficult to switch on.Finally would not switch on at all !Would not recommend !!!
