I would suggest two people to set it up although I finally was able to do it by myself.First the poles would slide down, then the screen would slide down.Took it down twice to readjust everything and I tightened the knobs with pliers for it to stay put.

Works well . Does the job. 4 stars as assembled instructions need to be better with each pole marked . It would cut assembling by 3/4s . Assembly is a night mare. All the poles are slightly different circumference and they are not , I repeat, are not marked . Lots of trial and error but once its together, its fantastic.

I bought this panel 10/25/2018 for a bedroom I ‘made’ for my teenage son. It divides the family room & his bedroom in the basement. There are exposed heating ducts going along the ceiling so one of the panel poles only has a 2x4 to push against at that part of the ceiling & is awkwardly positioned - so I thought one of my 4 sons surely would know it over or out if it’s precarious placement but they have not!! My boys play down there like maniacs & I have not secured this panel to anything, I just adjusted with the poles it came with & I am extremely impressed by its staying power!! It has an attractive, textured, natural look & feel. It allows a little bit of light through but you cannot actually see through it. I purchased mine second hand but you certainly can’t tell.

Looks fine once it is up. Took longer then it should have to put together.Issues:1) One of the fabric sleeves was sewn to tightly - had to use scissors on one end so the pole would slide through.2) Each time you shift the poles to adjust the size. Paint gets scratched off from the other poles edges.3) There are 4 tiny pieces of foam on the ends of the - “Black Thumb Screws” (that I think were glued to the ends to prevent paint from being scrapped). All of them fell off. Glue didn’t hold (and they were not really helping anything).Otherwise it does exactly what it is meant to. Divide a room. Going to vacuum up paint chips now!

It separated a big room into an office space and library. Although the recommendations say to screw it into the ceiling and floor, I did not. It is a tension pole so I just pushed the pole down and twisted to make it have more tension and it is holding itself up fine, and in place, without any screws. It is not a solid wall, but it creates a separation of space very well. You can see through it, so it won't hide things like stuff written on a whiteboard (if you are not staring through), but will generally obscure confidential paperwork on my desk and any mess behind the screen. Privacy level was so I was not distracted with motion going on in the living room. It does eliminate background motion noise. It does exactly what I needed it to do. And it looks nice. I wish it was a shade lighter. Getting two more to put infront of hubby's desk.

The first shipment did only contain one box which left me without any hardware to put up the shades but the company sent a complete set ASAP. I have to say...these are awesome! A little tricky to figure out but the engineering is really quite amazing on these panels. Too much plastic wrap for my liking too as I think it’s overkill individually wrapping each post. However again these are beautiful, classy looking and exactly what we needed. Really impressed! If you are not into the accordion style panels or cheap looping curtain tiles, this is exactly what you need and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

I ordered 2- received one in tact... the other I have returned and received 3 times and am STILL missing the screen... so obviously EXTREME issues with shipping.Other than that though, the one that I did receive in tact is very nice exactly what I needed. Note that I do wish the screen was longer as there is a fairly substantial break between floor and ceiling, so double check measurements. Past that though good product- just extremely inconsistent on parts being received!
