Was not for Youth AiR XP series helmets
I bought my grandson a size med. Schutt Sports Youth AiR XP Hybrid Football Helmet for Christmas and once he decided on a position I ordered him this face guard. It says that it's for a youth helmet but there is no way in the world that this is gonna fit. I contacted Schutt and they told me that the youth DNA guard fits the Youth Recruit Hybrid model and not the Youth AiR XP Hybrid and now that I look at the helmets, I can see the difference in the shape of the two shells. I'm well past the return date and now I have to order the right series mask which they say is the universal series like the EGOP UYF .
