Destroyed my Duoglider
I have a Graco Duo Glider swing and we're military. Well, we're constantly moving and various pieces of our lives go missing or get broken in PCS moves. I had the swing, but no power cord. No worries, I can order a one. Originally I was sent a used power cord that was shoved haphazardly in the package. It was Amazon Prime, so I just ordered a replacement and sent the used cord back. No problem. When the new cord arrived, I originally plugged it in and made sure it worked. It did. Baby #3 wasn't due for about a month though so it just sat in the nursery. Baby is here and a couple weeks old now. I was having a particularly rough morning, she's screaming and I go to put her in duo glider for the very first time and turn it on. I notice it would work for about 30 seconds and then stop working. I turn it on again and it would work and then stop. Each time it worked, she was calm and when it stopped, she screamed. This went on for maybe 2-3 minutes and finally I gave up trying to get it to work. Figured I'd just put batteries in it later. My husband came home and walked in the nursery and said "what did you do? It smells like burnt plastic in here". *he had to tell me because I have no sense of smell, both good and bad thing with a baby in the house* Anyway, I went to batteries in the duoglider and the motor is completely fried. It doesn't work at all now. And I checked when I ordered the power cord that I was ordering a 5v cord. I am so pissed. And it's past my return window I can't even return the damn cord and it ruined my $200 swing.
