We bought these to mount under shelves in our dark food pantry to light the dark shelves. The first one we put up worked fine, and lit up when we put a hand under it. The second one wouldn't light by motion. We traded the locations of the two bars. The one that worked worked in both spots. The one that didn't work did not work in either spot. So this was not a problem unique to the locations we had chosen, it was bad lights. We then tried the third one, and it was also broken, and would not detect motion to light. We returned them.

I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars. Goveee makes pretty good products but if you have a malfunction they're EXCELLENT in replacing the unit. Out of the many products I've bought (including this), I've only ever needed a replacement twice and going through their app makes it super easy and quick. I recommend because even if you have an issue, they're amazing at getting it rectified.

I got these for under my kitchen cabinets to light up the counter and for my room utility room downstairs and I'm so happy. The motion sensitivity is great, once you're about 2-3 feet in front of the device it kicks on. It's very bright. Mounting was super easy, battery replacement is super easy because the base stays stuck on and you just slide to unlock the light and change out the batteries. Mine are even behind the lip of the cabinet underneath and the motion sensor still works amazing.

Absolutely loving these lights. Installed underneath our kitchen cabinets for more light on our counters. Also, installed in a hall closet that did not have a light in it. Makes an enormous difference in this closet. The brightness is just right, and the motion detection works great. I highly recommend these lights.

Works GREAT! Well worth the purchase.I put one of these at the top of our stairs. Motion turns it on so the stairs are lit and we can find the bathroom at night.I put the second one in our entryway closet. Open the door and we have light.I put the third one in our mud room under the bench where we keep our shoes. Light turns on when you reach toward the shoes.All great uses! You'll love these lights.NOTE: If you're using them in a high-use area (like our stairway), you'll definitely want rechargeable batteries in it (4x AAA). It's probably on and off close to 100 times per day and lasts about 5 days between charges.

I had a problem with the motion detection, with the lights 4 ft apart. GoveeUS has A+ customer service. They made it right immediately. Great products with very quick customer service to back up any problems. Thank you GoveeUS

Easy to install, works well, just make sure it is not centered at the opening as the motion sensor is so good it loghts up when you pass the cupboard also thought ther would be a light meter as it comes one even at day?

I put duct tape on the sensor covering over half the motion sensor facing outwards all the way in the farthest corner of the room and it still goes off randomly. A photon of light can bounce off the wall and activate it when opening a door on otherside of room. It's ridiculous
