So upset with myself for not trying these sooner
I don’t know how I made it so long without these. I have a job that requires copious amounts of standing, sitting in a car, and air travel - frequently in the same day. For years I have dealt with sore, achy, and puffy legs, ankles, and feet. I didn’t think there was a solution as I’d tried what felt like every shoe on the market and couldn’t figure out why I was still so uncomfortable.Until one day, a nurse that I was speaking with at a work event suggested this brand of compression socks. I was skeptical because I’d only ever thought of compression socks like my grandmother wore when I was a kid, but I ordered anyway based on the recommendation. Not only are these socks adorable and cozy, they WORK. I wore them for a 16 hour work day immediately after I got them. I forgot that I had them on pretty much right away because they are that comfortable, but when I got home at the end of the night and took them off, I nearly cried I was so happy. My legs/ankles/feet weren’t swollen at all and I realized I had made it through the entire day without any of the painful ache I was accustomed to. I washed them that night, and air dried them over a vent so I could wear them again the next day. I also ordered 4 more pairs.I hover between a size 7.5 and 8.5 depending on the shoe, so I followed the Sockwell advice to size up and I’m glad I did, the M/L still compressed successfully, and I did have a little extra room in the toes, but I think the S/M would’ve been too small and prone to wearing out sooner in the toe box due to that.

Best support hose !
Great color and design choices. Have worn for years, always satisfied except for a few pair that were a little shorter than should be. Launder well and long lasting, great prices!

These compression knee highs are comfortable and not binding
I bought 2 pair of these Sockwell graduated compression knee high socks in different designs. I have found them to be very comfortable to wear. The fact that they do not bind at the knee and do not leave a groove in my leg when I take them off is great. I do quite a bit of long distance driving and find that my legs and feet no longer swell and throb when wearing these compression socks. I forget that they are compression socks and several people have said "I like your socks" because they look like ordinary knee highs. I have washed them many, many times and they have held up very well, no snags, tears, or worn spots. I have accidently thrown them in the dryer several times with no ill effects. I recommend them to those looking for graduated compression socks.

Tighter than others purchased
Previous from this brand in moderate fit are not as difficult to get on.

Favorite compression sock
These are my favorite of the 6 companies I've tried. The fabric quality surpasses the others. The wool and rayon keep the sock breathable and comfortable all day.

Super comfortable!
I have never tried compression socks before and I know that should almost be a crime since I'm a nurse! I wanted to try these socks since some of my coworkers recommended them and mentioned how comfortable they were. Boy was I surprised. These socks are so comfortable even while adding compression. I mainly chose to wear these because I literally stand for 8 hours straight, 5 days a week and it often leaves my ankles swollen. Just after one day of use I noticed a huge difference! The bottom of the sock where your foot goes is super cushiony and padded and feels great in my sneakers. The tightness of the compression is just enough to notice your leg being hugged but is not uncomfortable at all. My legs or feet didn't hurt all day. (they normally don't hurt, but I felt extra light today). I have heard people complain about being itchy after wearing these types of socks because of the imprints they leave on your skin. I didn't feel particularly itchy during or after wear. Size wise, I have narrow and thin feet and wear size 8 sneakers but I went with the "medium/large" size because I was afraid the sock wouldn't be able to fit my calf (my calf size is about 17" around so it's not small). So the heel to toe portion of the sock is slightly bigger than I tend to wear but it doesn't bunch up or feel bulky at all. The part that goes over my calf is somewhat of a struggle to pull up, and it gets pretty tight, but once in place it feels great! Also, my feet tend to get sweaty after a long day of work and these helped keep my feet nice and dry today which definitely helps battle odors. I recommend these for sure!

The merino wool keeps the socks from being affected by sweaty feet.
The medium large size fits my 9.5 foot without being too small in the toes. The wool content keeps the sock from getting smelly. I have 4 or 5 pairs of these socks and they provide good daily support. A little more wool % would be great. Looking for plain navy now and hoping they show up.

Waaaaay better than no-name synthetic compression socks!
I confess that I balked at the price initially -- I don't think I've EVER paid $20 for a pair of socks!!But if you're looking for compression socks, I definitely recommend these over ones full of synthetic materials! The wool let my feet breathe, whereas they baked and soaked in the synthetic ones that I bought at the same time to test out!My calves measure 17.5 inches, and these fit me. They also don't pull weirdly where the diagonal patterns are, like some patterned socks do when putting them on larger legs. And they weren't TOO tight, even around the top band -- I didn't need to yank them off as soon as I got off the plane, like I had to with the super tight synthetic ones, and they didn't leave a deep ring of compressed skin at the top of the band!I've washed several times in the machine, tossing them in the dryer, and they've held up just fine and haven't shrunk down to baby booties. My ONLY complaint is the orange band at the top. I love purples but never wear orange, so I'd have preferred that they stayed within the same colour scheme as the rest of the sock.

The benefit of wearing Sockwell graduated compression socks
I have enjoyed wearing my third pair of moderate graduated compression socks all ordered from Amazon. They support my legs that both have varicose veins with comfort that I was needing. My sister recommended them and I was more than pleased with the results. Highly recommended!

I have ordered more!
They arrived promptly, fit well and did the job! It's nice to have compression stockings that are a bit fun to wear! I don't think the compression is quite as high as my "ugly" stockings, but for around the house they're great. I've ordered more. Having them wool is really nice. They're more breathable than other stockings and should be a little warmer in winter.
