Not Absorbent!!
I purchased two sets of these towels and am very disappointed. Once I received them I followed the care instructions and machine washed and dried them. Unfortunately, these towels are not at all absorbent. They only moved or spread water around and would not pick up the water or dry anything, ie: kitchen counters, dishes, pots, pans, etc. I went online to research the issue and found that some manufacturers coat their cloths in a chemical to make the towels appear and feel especially nice. I tried washing them in vinegar & baking soda in an attempt to remove this coating to no avail. These towels are junk and are now used in my garage for cleaning rags. I purchased new ones from a different manufacturer and they are awesome. 100% cotton, stylish, and most importantly, super absorbent.

Shrinkage
The solid color towels are a different material a waffle weave. They shrink up quite a bit.

These towels look beautiful and feel like linen. However, they are horrible for drying dishes! They do not absorb moisture, just push it around.

Lose their shape
As soon as you wash them they are wrinkled and stay that way unless you iron them and the weave towels lose their shape becoming distorted. I bought them as gifts and didn’t know how bad they were until I bought them myself. Only then did my family tell me how bad they were.

Pretty colors and design but don’t wash them..
After first wash.. now is a nice scarf. The design is beautiful but just for decor.

Terrific tea towels. A variety of patterns, which is nice. Very absorbent and wash up nicely. They really are worth every penny.

Liked the first set but on reorder, solid blue shrunk and distorted
Seems like the fabric changed . As says preshrunk . First set I got was great. Second set shrunk. See comparison.

Jolis torchons, mais des bouloches
Torchons pratiques, jolis, globalement efficaces. Ce ne sont pas les plus absorbants du marché, mais ils font leur travail de manière tout à fait convenable. Leur défaut principal est qu'ils ont tendance à faire des bouloches.
