Oh my gosh! What a difference. I have two tankless water heaters installed in my garage. We had one cover but needed another. Really finishes out the heaters. They look great and I don’t have to stare at the pipes anymore!

Poor design overall. If you orient the isolation valve so that the PRV fits inside the cover, then the service connection and the valve operating handle aren't pointing in a user friendly direction. I just got off the phone with Rinnai and found out that my unit came with the older model valves. They are sending me a replacement set so I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4.

The box looks like it was a return and packaged up by a returning customer and resent out. Metal corners where bent.

Flabbergasted that the manufacturer’s service valve kit interferes with their own pipe cover. The front comes off easily for service, but it looks like I’ll be disassembling the whole thing any time I want to flush the unit. Assembled per factory instructions.A few other let-downs: the screws are very short and are not captive. Be aware of this and use a magnetic tipped driver to save yourself some headache 👍There is a bigger gap between the front cover of the unit and the cover, and the side panels overlap the unit above. Seems like it will channel water inside, which isn’t the end of the world, but it’d be nice if it went the other way. Then you could line the panel with insulation board and keep it a little dryer.

Cover came 3 days earlier than promised. Simple install. Took about 10 minutes to put together and another 15 to install. Plenty of room for all pipes and insulation. Looks really nice.

Cover physically fits the water heater, minimizing gaps and maintaining warmth. The height allows ample room for water and gas hookups. The colour and dimensions are good matches for the heater.
