We have had this set for about six months now and absolutely love the ambience it gives in the kitchen. A few weeks ago the lights started to turn off on their own and wouldn't turn back on, so I email customer support and they are sending a free replacement for our faulty lights. I'm happy to keep using them for as long as they will last. Affordable, easy to install, and great appearance (and great, responsive customer service).

Upgrading to 5 stars! The seller (Tekvilla) did indeed send me the new model for free, and it works great! They added a rocker switch to turn all the lights on/off at the same time. They also added a dimmer switch. The net result? You can choose any brightness lever you want (from dark to very, very bright) and it remembers that setting every time you turn the lights back on. Best I've seen.------------------------Adding more stars for great customer service. Seller refunded my money right away, even before receiving the returned item. They even offered to send me the new model that for FREE, which should fix the issues I had, once it becomes available.------------------------I should have read the "cons" in one of the other reviews before I bought these :-( Unfortunately, these lights would be painful to use. It turns out you have to touch them 3 times to get to the brightest setting. It doesn't lend itself to a switch, because each time you cut the power, you have to do the touching all over again. I was going to decide that was OK, just not preferable, but then I connected the other 2 strips to the first one and discovered that you have to touch all 3 strips individually, up to 3 times each if you want them all to be at the brightest level. And if you turn the light switch off, then the next time you turn it on you'll have to touch all 3 again 3 times each.

These lights have been great above a countertop with a built-in refrigerator in our family room. I used to keep a lamp on the countertop because it was such a dark corner, but now it matches the lighting above the cabinets that are above it. Had an electrician here to do another job and he quickly installed them and spliced them into the existing wall switch that was used for the above-cabinet light. We love it! Love especially that these lights are dimmable, so we adjusted down during Christmas when other lights were hung, then brightened back up when that all came down. Back on here today to buy another set for installation above the fireplace mantle to help highlight artwork and create a cozy vibe in the evenings.

Very easy to install and looks great underneath the main shelf of my computer desk. My only complaint is that I'm thinking of purchasing another setso that I can add a light on each end of the shelf, underneath the outer cabinets. Based on other product reviews, I'll probably need to purchase another power adapter to safely to do this. It works well but I wish the cords were shortened easier and the glue on clips are worthless.I used gorilla tape to secure the clips but because they are so close together for my application they cord bunches up and you can see it protruding from under the cabinet.Worth the money still but could be a little better. Time to break out the soldering gun to shorten the leads.

I installed these about 1 week ago, and we really like them. Some reviews have wrong info. They may have older style lights.Well I have the latest style. These are dimmable as a group, all dim from a controller.I hung them with the included double stick tape on wood under the upper kitchen cabinets, I cleaned the surface first. They are staying up.The included screws would protrude into the cabinet. I could find shorter wood screws if the double stick doesn't hold.The color is warm light and can be very bright. The dimmer controls all 3 strips. Can be used as a night light in the kitchen or wherever. I stuck the dimmer and the on/off switch up with some of the double stick tape.I ordered another set and mounted them above my sink on a window frame.I finally found a male to female extension cable cable with the 3.5mm x 1.35 male and female connectors on Amazon it is 5 feet long and is perfect for me to mount the lights about 6 feet up. It is a (3.5mm x 1.35mm DC Plug Extension Cord) sold by Kucam

I installed these lights in just a few minutes under my kitchen cabinets. I can’t tell you how much I love them. I got the daylight instead of the soft light. I needed food prep lighting and these are perfect. I use the dimmer switch when I want lighting for Ambience.. I highly recommend these. I used my own Gorilla tape to hide the excess cords.

As an apartment dweller, LOVE these lights! Been looking for something like this for YEARS. Was able to affix them across the base of my main cabinets and not only add needed task lighting, but ambience-related light as well. Plus I can take them with me when I move. Flexible, functional, and transportable to new digs as needed. Great product!Update Nov. 2019: Was able to successfully remove these from my apartment and install them successfully into my new home, one that I officially own (with the bank's permission...lol). Kitchen needed the additional lighting, and I bought another set of this product to light under the cabinets on the other side of the kitchen. LOVE these! Can see them being used for a host of discreet but necessary lighting applications. Easy to install, and easy to relocate . Lighting is warm, and not a harsh bluish light. Again, highly recommend!
