ACE Hot Cold Shoulder Wrap, Adj, Black

We love this thing! Easy to wear, does not interfere with movement. Can type, cook, sleep (even drive with it if had to) without affecting range of motion. The entire shoulder areas can be treated because it can be shifted around as desired. Wish we'd discovered it ages ago. PS: This is a spontaneous, unsolicited review.

Have used one of these for years, and recently bought a second. I'm 6'1" 200lb, big shoulders, and it fits me great. Straps are plenty long for even a larger size person. Gel packs are a good size and hold enough cold to provide at least 20 minutes of treatment. I wear a thin tshirt while using because the packs are in a very thin fabric sleeve, so your shoulder would get extremely cold without another layer in between.There are 2 velcro straps that go around the chest, one from each side. There's another Velcro strap that loops under the armpit. The design is very effective at holding the packs tight against the shoulder. One issue mine has, is that one of the chest straps has the velcro sewn on the wrong side, so I have to twist it in order to make it attach. While it "works", the twisted strap is annoying, and simply shouldn't be there. Otherwise, its really a 5 star item.

This is the perfect wrap for my shoulder pain. It uses both ice packs at once. It’s the best I’ve found so far. I followed the advice from another reviewer. Once the little strap is set in place I don’t take it off. Just slip it off and it’s ready to use again with out any extra adjustments. Also with my pain I needed help putting the wrap on the first time. So by leaving the little strap on, now I can put in on by myself. Love it.

I bought this for my husband his left shoulder has a lot of pain any cat get to the orthopedic doctor until July. So I looked on Amazon there's a lot of shoulder cold and hot packs. Some extremely expensive and others not too bad I chose this one because the ice pack goes into the freezer separate and you leave the cloth part out. It had okay reviews it does not fit on like a sleeve it drapes over the shoulder it can go on either or right or left. The ice packs fit inside a little sleeve on each side of the cloth holder my husband said he can keep it on he can walk around he can do whatever at home and it will last a good 30 minutes it gets less cold as the time passes. But it has helped give him comfort with his pain it does not get hard like some shoulder cold packs do and you can use it in the microwave to make it warm pack we have not tried that or do we want to try it we like the cold on our joint pain. I think the hot is better for muscle pain.

This was very helpful in my post rotator cuff surgery. Ice bags stay cold for more than enough time for relief. Easy adjustment to hold in place.

This is for shoulders only, as stated. As such, it is a somewhat better fit than the Universal (more versatile) hot/cold packs which fit the shoulder and other areas. I would like to see softer and more sturdy hot/cold packs which go inside the wrap. The ones that come with are the typical ones. If used correctly, the 'should' last awhile but they are easy to burst in the micro if they get to hot and expand too much. There may be some other brand around for the packs. I like that the wrap holds two packs which covers the shoulder well. I don't like the neoprene-blend material as much as some of the other shoulder wrap brands I've tried. At first, it had an unpleasant odor, but left to the air, it was gone after 2 days. So, as much as I like the materials of some of the other wraps better, I came back to this one because it takes two standard sized ice/hot packs and in general, it fits well. Some say it's hard to put it on an injured shoulder, but if you get in on and fit it once, leave the strap in place, the next times are easy. Hope it helps.

Purchased for my husband when he had first shoulder surgery. Great product. We replaced freezer inserts with better quality ones by ACE but the sling was wonderful. He used (and still uses since 2nd surgery) daily. Would highly recommend!
