Mixed media collage -- "Le Repos"

Description

This collage started with a 10" x 10" canvas. The materials used to create the design include paper, pieces of foreign text (such as Japanese, Arabic, and French), glass beads, a miniature playing card, a handmade porcelain medallion, and more. As with all my collages on canvas, the design wraps around the edges, creating a 3-dimensional piece which needs not be framed. The canvas is ready-to-hang.
