Great LED lights for our car port
Was looking for and easy solution to get some lights into our carports, and these have worked out great so far. I wanted lights that only came on when motion was detected and these were one of the few that had that option, along with 3 other modes. Overall the build quality seems good and they were easy to install...I've ordered 4 sets and all appear to be working correctly (after charging for at least a couple hours). We have two carports and I simply attached the metal arm to the solar panel, and set it on top of the carport near the back edge with a couple strong magnets to keep in it place. Then just feed the wires down the ceiling between the bars. The metal clips on top of the lights aren't too hard to detach/re-attach and in one carport I could hang them on an existing support bar without having to drill a hole or add a hook. The other carport I just used a zip tie to attach them through the metal hook. The motion activation seems to be about a 90 degree cone from the center of the light...the lights in the carport are about 8 feet high and I probably have to get within about 4 feet of the light to activate it. I wish it had a bit wider detection, but it's acceptable for my use.The instructions aren't great so it's up to you to figure out how you're going to mount everything, but not a big deal. The remote isn't great either...flimsy plastic (x2 AAA) with the 4 mode buttons, on/off and up/down so no way to tell what setting you're applying unless you memorize the modes or have the instructions handy, although the images on the Amazon page are easier to understand the modes. Each set does come with two remotes, so nice to have a backup...and the remotes aren't paired to a particular set, so one remote could control all 8 of the lights, etc.The lights do work if they're unplugged from the solar panel too, so you could theoretically charge them during the day and put them inside a tent at night, or whatever...probably not a common use, but nice if needed.A couple things I wish the lights had:1 ) Indicator to tell if the lights are actually charging or how full the batteries are. Again not a big deal, but would be nice to have.2) Manual switches on the lights themselves in case the remotes break or get lost...otherwise there's no way to change the settings.3) Ability to change the activation time...the lights will turn off in about 10 seconds without motion. Would be nice if it had a least a few options like 10, 30, or 60 seconds. The images are showing the %10 dim mode and full brightness in the carport along with the inside. Seems possible to replace the batteries, but not as simple as popping in a new cell.Overall, I'm very happy with the lights though.

Amazing Value! Great lighting!
I bought this to add lighting to my detached garage. When you’re in my garage it’s pitch black and as you can see from the photos, it really lights the place up with just the two lights hanging from the rafters. Two sets would make it bright enough for me to do any project in there I’d bet but we just wanted something to help us see without using a flashlight.Very easy to install on a low roof so long as you have a hole to feed the cords.Excellent lighting.Great value.Downside, I believe only mode 4 can be used while the panel is in the sunlight. Not an issue for us since we only want to use it when we’re in there. The remote has a short range - maybe 8 feet - and works best for me (and I get more distance) if I hang my arm down and tilt it up while turning the light on and off. One remote will work for both lights but will not turn them on simultaneously - i.e., you’ll have to point it at one and then the other to turn them on unless you want to go two fisted like an old western gunfighter.I have to say this was one of the easiest and most satisfying home improvement projects I’ve undertaken in awhile. If you’ve prepped an entry way for the chords (if necessary for your project), you’ll have this up and running in 15 minutes.

Not bad
It works pretty well. Has a good sensor and I like the different brightness settings.Things I don't like so much:The hook on the lights are flimsy and can easily drop the lights. I had to zip tie them to keep them in place. Each light is controlled by one remote and the range for both is pretty short. If in a high traffic area, it will definitely kill the lights quick. I'd say it lasted maybe 4-3 at most with people walking through the area all night.Still, I like them. The cords and be taken apart, the solar panel is heavy duty and the cords are night and long.

Good lights
Lights and solar panel work great, just make sure nothing blocks full sun on the solar panel though. Even a window will block too much sun for the panel to work well.

Short life expectancy
I bought two sets of these a year ago (November 2021, and it's now November 2022), in order to light up a barn. I'm honestly a bit torn on how I feel about them, in both positive and negative directions. The negative: The remotes, while functional, only reliably work if standing directly under them, which is about 8 feet away, while pointing up. I've tried many another angle and distance, with little success. Mode 3 which is supposed to be "dusk to dawn" is more like "dusk to 3 am" even during summer hours here, which means they only last about 7 hours on a full charge, even with them on the lowest brightness setting. And forget them lasting even that long during winter months; sometimes they only last two hours or so. The wires connecting one of the four pendants (two sets of two pendants, remember) completely tore free overnight around six months ago, for no clear reason, so either the weight of the pendant was too much for the cable, or something mysterious occurred to it during the night. The other pendant on that system doesn't shut off during the day anymore unless it's set to off, no matter what Mode setting it's in, and if we forget to manually shut it off in the morning, then it doesn't charge at all during the day and is unusable that night. At this point, a year on, even the set that's never had physical issues is not holding a charge well. The positive: When they do light up, they work well. On low, all four can light up a 46x32 foot barn well enough to see everything and get everything done when taking care of daily chores. I like the pendant design and how they can be taken off the line in order to use as portable lanterns; before hanging them up in their permanent spots, I often took one off the line at night to use that way, and it was very effective. The pendant design also means that the lights are fully independent of each other, so if one goes out completely (as happened when the cable tore), the other still charges and works.

Not very reliable
We used this item for exactly 5 times and one of the lights now refuses to switch on. One is still working fine. A lot of money for poor quality.

1 de las lamparas ya no funciona correctamente
The media could not be loaded.
