I wanted an ear warmer I could use while biking and wearing earphones. These fit below the helmet at the back of the neck just fine; you need to put on the helmet strap around the ears first before putting these on. I was also able to wear them over my Bluetooth ear phones without discomfort as my ear pods themselves are small; however, your mileage may vary on that front especially if your ear pods project horizontally out too much. They stay put while biking and seem warm enough. Although I’ve only tried them in the low 50s, they feel like they’ll be warm enough even down to the 30s. At that point, you’ll probably need more head covering anyway, especially if you are biking or want to stay real toasty.

I never trust the "one size fits all" or "one size fits most" with anything related to head gear. My head's just big, plain and simple. And while these are juuuust big enough, they do fit, which is an unexpected pleasant surprise. They do keep your ears WARM, which means that even when the temperature dipped into the 30s (cold for us Texans), my ears were toasty. I'll probably buy another pair, first because I like them, but also because I tend to lose stuff like this.
