Loved it and didn't want it to end!
I've always liked Stepanka because I feel like we have so much in common. Now, after reading her first book I realize that we have even more in common than I had originally thought! Very similar lives. I think her story is relatable to young women... Especially if you have ever been in an abusive relationship before, or stayed in a relationship in which you weren't being treated as well as you should be (and let's face it, most of us have) or put all of your time and energy into trying to help a guy who doesn't care to help himself. It's a hard lesson to learn but I believe it's a rather common one. For this being her first book, I think it is very well written! She is very intelligent and has a way with words. She definitely has a talent here. I didn't want it to end. Can't wait to read about the next chapter in her life, wherever her adventures may take her. :)

Nope
I cant believe I tried reading this, it was pointless and there was even grammatical errors. The author is also kinda - trash. After I found her Youtube Channel I was like what the heck ? Anyway thats beside the point, I usually enjoy light readings about women's memoirs but this just wasn't for me.

Nope.
Eh. Good thing it's short, because it didn't hold my attention very long. There are literally millions of other books I could have read instead, that have substance and excellent writing, which this lacked.

Cute
I think we all have stories of our younger days that we could write about. This was nothing out of the ordinary. I finished it in about an hour and that was with taking breaks.

Not bad
This book is not very well written, but a good read for those who enjoy true stories from a first person perspective. There were some pays that seemed to get off track and drag along but all in all not a bad read!

Great read!
I think Stepanka did a great job engaging the reader. It's a fun, quick read! I have followed her on YT for a while now and it was interesting to read about what was going on behind the scenes. It also provided a realistic glimpse into LA...it isn't all glitz and glam. I was rooting for her throughout the whole book and I have to say after reading about her adventures that I have a new respect for her and like her even more!

Fantastic. I love it.
An absolutely fantastic book. It's written very cleverly and is extremely relateable throughout. This book is packed full of funny & cringe worthy stories that will have you laughing. A great read!

Good storytelling
The storytelling was good but its very short and there are a couple typos. Also most of the stories have been heard from youtube? Admittedly wth a bit more detail here

One of my favourite books ever; HIGHLY recommend!!!!
I couldn't wait for this weekend to come so I would have time to read Stephanie's book. I feel like I've known Steph for so long and I will do anything I can to support her so buying this book was a no-brainer. I finished this morning and it left me feeling so inspired! I literally would go from laughing to tearing up as each chapter passed. At one point my brother asked why I was laughing, so I had to tell him about the Elijah Wood and a homeless woman reference; too funny. I could imagine Stephanie telling the stories as if she was sitting in front of me talking. The entire book flowed so well. I can be a very detail oriented/picky person, and there is honestly nothing bad I can say about this book! I have said it before and I will say it again, I'm so proud of you Steph! I could picture this book selling big time in bookstores. Although I have already bought the Kindle version, I'm still buying a hard copy to display on my bookshelf. :) If you write another I guarantee I will be purchasing and reading it!

It felt more like a catharsis for the author
This was a decent read. It felt more like a catharsis for the author, than a profound set of stories for the reader. Matto has clearly made some striking discoveries about herself, thanks to a series of unsuccessful relationships with men. All the best to her in her future endeavours. I would have liked to see this book edited more closely, as there are numerous grammar and spelling mistakes. However, congratulations to her on this first book. if she seeks out a second publishment - hopefully we will see her writing style evolve and mature.
