My Favorite Boot
This has been my favorite type of boot for the last 7 years. This is my first time getting them in steel-toe and I'm very satisfied with both steel-toe and non steel-toe.

The fit was great better than my other boots
Was not sure what to expect I had not used military style boot in a number of years, but needed safety boots for working in hot weather. I was pleasantly surprised at the fit. I ordered a half size larger than I have worn in the past because of all the feedback that said these ran small. The fit was great better than my other boots, and I was able to wear them all day with no problems. as soon as I can I plan to buy another pair to keep in reserve for when they stop making these.

Doesn't look like picture
Comparably light weight as compared to my Nike sb combat/assault boots. The picture on the site is not what these look like out of the box. The same picture is used for the 333 non steel toe version of this boot. Attached is a picture of my nike boots (on left) which look more like the picture on amazon than the Belleville (on right)

Not a $200 boot (not worth it)
I expected a WHOLE Lot more out of a $180-$200 pair of boots. It was true to get a 1/2 size under what you normally wear. Left boot pushed up on the ball of my foot and was not comfortable at all. Was not a break-in issue. Once the insole was removed (which was thin at the ball of the foot area) I could feel the area that was pushing up in the inside and the thin insole could not cover up/cushion that area. Yes, maybe if you spent another $50-$60 on replacement insoles to cushion the boots, but..... Why should you have to repair a pair of $200 boots or make them a $260 pair. I spent $50 less on a pair of Danner boots and they where comfortable right out of the box. They looked comfortable, but they where NOT.
