So I purchased this before taking my toddler cousin to a water park, as well as a few other places during a vacation. She is one of those kids who disappears if she leaves your sight for a second. I've never been a fan of "Kid Leashes" but was super concerned about this trip, and seeing as we were going to a water park, I was glad to find this instead of one of the backpack/harness setups. When I saw my cousin, I told her I got us a "friendship bracelet," and that we both needed to keep it on to stay together. She LOVED the idea! She actually would make me wear my end with her at the hotel and in the car! This product works really well too, the end that slips over the child's hand is adjustable, it has a plastic piece that loosens/tightens with ease and doesn't get too tight on their little wrists. I was able to keep my cousin wearing it through almost the whole vacation, until someone mentioned, "Good idea, putting your kid on a leash!" She had had it after that. So, altogether, the product itself is awesome. The usefulness of it may depend on who you're using it for.

Bought this item to take on a trip to Disney with a large group and wanted to keep my very active toddler close. This is literally a strap that goes around the childs wrist with a loop on the other end. It is essentially a dog leash, although I probably could have gotten a better quality item in a pet store. Plus, it hurt my son's wrist when I put it on-very bothersome and he pulled it off in 30 seconds. I did not even use this.Total waste of my money...don't bother with this item. I am sure there are more functional tether's out there.

If you're intending to use it to assist in keeping a child close by, this product is not for you. I purchased it when traveling by myself with my two sons, knowing I would have to have my hands free for luggage and other things. We tried it during an outing in our community and decided it was too dangerous. I can only envision my son trying to run off or pull away from me and having his wrist broke or pulled out. Not to mention the dangers of people passing by getting "wrapped up" accidentally in it.

Good quality and my toddler could not get out of it. I did not like it because he is a strong willed toddler who does not get stopping at the end of this tether. Many times he has gave frustration over this. We went to a backpack one, when he hits the end it does not pull him awkwardly, and he seems more comfortable with it.

We live in a hilly neighborhood and my husband wanted a tether for our stroller in case he ever tripped or otherwise fell while walking our baby. We use this as a strap that attaches to the stroller and to our wrist when we are out walking in the stroller (not attached to the baby, indicated in the picture.) The other "jogging tethers" sold on Amazon seem to have mixed reviews (too short, wrist part too small, etc.), so we got this instead. This works perfectly and gives my husband some peace of mind that our stroller won't go rolling off into traffic. Good product.

My husband insisted we buy this strap for our baby so we could keep her by our side. When I received this item it looked more like a cheap dollar dog leach. My daughter is only one year old and she learned how to take it off. I was not happy we payed $6 for it. Not worth it and after a month we lost it. stick to the monkey backpacks!

I have a one and a two-year-old who are always on a mission the second they get out of the stroller to run and keep running so this definitely helps keep them near us with giving them a little freedom to walk in front of us. It is so much better than the backpacks because this goes around their hand and around your hand. It also folds up very compact. I always keep them in my purse wherever I go I will have it

I have a preschooler and a very ornery toddler. I use this for him. It doesn't have a clasp so he can't get out of it. I like that it can keep him close by yet, gives him enough room to walk independently. He seems to like it too. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the tether is rough on his skin as he's moving about. If it had a padded lining or something to cause more comfort I would gladly change my rating.

I bought 2 of these to make sure I always have one handy. He's at the age when they want to walk and not be in the stroller all the time and this keeps him safe.

Takes a few minutes to put on right. I didn't get it tight enough and both kids were able to slip out of it with no problem. I'll try them again.

Toddler easily escapes this. Not good !!
