Purchased this as a gift. The recipient loves this book. I was told that it gives a lot of detail about Mr. Selfridge and his life before setting up shop in London.

Shorter than I'd expected, but excellent book on subject with some wonderful bits! Good one!

Great read. Loved the PBS special MR. SELFRIDGE so I had to have this book to learn even more about him and his family. Easy quick read.

If you watched the Masterpiece Theatre series you’ll probably enjoy this book. There’s not much to it, but I enjoyed reading it.
