Husband is allergic to shellfish, so can’t use regular oyster sauce, but this is an excellent sub. All of the flavor, none of the danger, lol.

This product has a delightful flavor. It’s better than just using soy sauce.. has a low sodium content and works on many Asian dishes, use it all the time.

Love this stuff. I try to observe kashrut ("keep kosher"). I love Asian food and prepare it often, but most Oyster Sauce, alas, has oysters in it which I will not consume. This "oyster sauce" is not oyster but made from mushrooms, kosher and vegan. It is a large bottle (plastic) and last quite a while even as I often use it like a marinade. (Time to reorder soon!)
