... and thanks for sending a second "bird" because I have a feeling this one will be chewed up pretty fast. the pole itself is thin and flexible, so it gives the feathers lots of fluttering movement. she's going nuts, jumping in the air trying to catch it. she's put on a few extra pounds, so whatever works to get her moving. it's reasonably priced, so if it breaks, i'll definitely be getting another.

This thing is amazing! My cat generally chooses to ignore any semblance of play. After hearing about this from a friend, we decided to give it a try. The cat will not stop playing! She loves it and I honestly feel like, for once, we're doing something together. I highly recommend this for any cat owner, especially those with "moody" cats. Will definitely be buying more for my other cat owning friends.

Both of my cats love this toy, but one cat is ferocious about capturing the bird and once in his teeth I have to let him carry it around for awhile. I can't imagine that it would last long in a tug of war, so I use a treat to distract him. I would give it 5 stars if it was sturdier.

I very rarely write reviews, but this is so amazing I had to write one. My cat LOVES this toy. She plays with it everyday and thank goodness for the extra feather because she chewed up the first one in a couple weeks! Will definitely buy a new one when she's chewed up the extra feather !

It was fun for a a while, and my cat did enjoy playing with it. Unfortunately, the wire/string broke, this time beyond repair. The first time it broke I was able to repair it, because it was at the end where the feather toy is. The second time it broke, it broke from the top, where it attaches to the pole. Now, I have an extra attachment, but no way of attaching it. Frustrating.

This is actually better than Da Bird, the string doesn't tangle and destroy itself in two weeks. Well made and sturdy even if it feels really light. All of my cats love it and I think it will last quite a while, thank you!

I had been a die hard "Da Bird" user for at least 8 years. All my furkids (some now deceased) would drag it too me to play every night. Both I and my current 2 cats like this much better.

I like the fact these are feathers are not dyed. I prefer my cats not to be eating dyes and other chemicals. Nice ergonomic handle, also with telescoping wand. A good buy.
