This is the quietest dishwasher I've ever had. We checked several times to make sure it was running. It was and the dishes came out sooooo clean! Buy this!

Shipping container was damaged during delivery and the dishwasher door was dented in the process. The damage did not affect the dishwashers performance.

Flimsy hardware. Awkward, inconvenient hoses. The space available for larger items can't be used for them because it blocks the soap dispenser. Crummy documentation doesn't mention that you shouldn't use pods or maybe gel, or say anything about the dispenser door needing to be clear. No response to email asking about details on powder and gel soap; and we had to use email because the customer service phone line was overwhelmed (which tells you something). We're returning it and spending a bit more money on something functional. It's a pity that so few companies can be bothered to make a portable dishwasher.

This dishwasher has been a saving grace. When we received it the outside of the unit was slightly damaged but I expected that due to how heavy it is for shipping. We put the hoses together and hooked it up and it works perfectly no leak and it does a really good job

Other than having a small capacity, it is a good product.

We installed the dishwasher under a counter and ad the plumbing installed for it … we have a fantastic contractor great little 18” wide dishwasher for a small kitchen all the other 5-star reviews were right … all the features and functions of a full size washer

Came in bent dented and distorted. All that aside it does work and cleans great

Cleans well, but doesn’t dry well at all. Either have to dry by hand or leave the door open for 24 hrs to air dry. Works way better than the counter top model I had.

I had an old Danby Designer Series portable dishwasher- the ancient ancestor to this one (had to be at least 25 yrs old) and was held together with super glue and elastic bands! It was so old the plastic was dissolving inside and it couldn’t be repaired.This replacement is the new version of the old one with some design changes. I can fit more dishes in it - and it is way more efficient and cleans way better AND IS VIRTUALLY SILENT! Danby appliances are workhorses and reliable - I will choose them over another manufacturers every time.It takes half the amount of detergent and cleans very well - but my water in Vancouver is very soft.Drawbacks - the hose holder that attaches to the back keeps falling off. That’s my only complaint - and I would rather reattach it a million times than having to do dishes - enough said.DELIVERY BY UPS sucks - the unit was delivered late, the carton was destroyed (and repaired by someone- UPS?) and the UPS website tracking said the unit was damaged in shipping- and it was - but it was a small cosmetic dent on the side which does not affect performance. EVERY SINGLE TIME something is delivered by UPS it arrives damaged, destroyed or missing and I have expressed my displeasure to Amazon - let’s hope that Amazon stops using them as a carrier!Amazon “made it right” though, and the dishwasher has made its forever home in my kitchen. Thanks Amazon!

First of all, the good side of it. Does do a d*** good job of washing dishes that much? I will give it however, the flimsy materit's cheap workmand poor quality casters all make it's worth so much less. Then what is being charged for it? A good dishwasher? I would pay serious money for and not have any qualms about doing it. This one however, I feel very, very much like. I paid an extreme amount over what the thing is actually worth overall. I'm very disappointed in the complete product.. First of all, upon arrival, the outer cthing was so obviously just flimsy. Cheap metal based on the fact that when we took it out of a box, it was already folded in 3 different places. Then within about a week, the caster started falling apart and the bearing started falling out of the casters. The sprayers so far have worked out well and the racks have worked out well. The hoses, however, are always leaking and always have To be retytened over and over and over again. I'm usually a person who is quite impressed with Danby products. But I have to say on this one I give it a fail.

The dishwasher is a nice quiet dishwasher! The delivery was horrible they left it out in the sidewalk basically! They didn’t knock at our door just dropped off 8-9 ft away from the door!

We’ve had this dishwasher for almost 2 years and have been very pleased. It was great for our small kitchen and it’s just the 2 of us. We run it almost daily.
