Live from Lexxi's Mom's Garage

Steel Panther is a parody 80's Metal Band. That context is very important for the theme of this release. You can't be a legitimate 80's band without a live acoustic album, right? Well Steel Panther released theirs at the beginning of 2016, and it's everything you'd expect. The performances themselves are solid, and the band finds unique ways to mix their songs with the acoustic instruments (especially in "Death to All But Metal"). Just like any Steel Panther show, in between songs you'll find the usual banter between the members, and them playing to the crowd. Usually not a fan of acoustic albums, but Steel Panther's unique take on it makes it a worthy effort.

What is there to say about Steel Panther? They have turned me into a Fanther and I am trying to convert everyone I know. This band is an amazing talent that always looks like they are having a great time or hanging with their best friends when they are on stage. The fun they seem to be having really makes their videos and concerts that much more enjoyable.

This is like Mr. Big or Extreme late 80s. I had to buy when I saw "live album". This sounds more like a house party than concert. Funny funny funny.

Best yet.i just wish they'd have more videos. This band ,while crude yes, is alot if fun. And they are no joke when they play,high energy,dam good vocals out of mike star considering his age and the age of the rest in the band,these guys rock!!!!

I love Steel Panther..... Definitely a throwback to the 80s hair band days. This live album is awesome.

Whatever your view on the performance; some of the picture is not in sync with the audio which I find really annoying with music videos so I have marked it right down as this really annoys me and should be sorted when they are selling so many. It must be the editing as some seems in sync whereas other times it is not on drum beat by a long way or a couple of seconds behind/in front of the guitar being strummed or picked.The performance......well it's steel panther but well slightly different, check their youtube video out which will give you a good idea.

What can you say about Steel Panther other than you'll love it or hate it. I loved it!!!! This one has the dvd which added to the humour.

cd was great steel panther have that bit extra when live. but dvd was blank

Great album

Steel Panther continue to deliver hilarious songs but this time with an acoustic twist. Only one new song on the album, but it's an interesting idea and delivered well. Can't ask for much more.

Alles top! Sehr schönes Album mit DVD-Version, die sehr unterhaltsam daher kommt. Kleine "Schauspiel-Stücke" zwischen den Akts in der Garage erheitern den Betrachter. Zudem schon allein ist Lexxi's Mom anzusehen. Daher Kaufempfehlung.

Great CD!! All the classics plus one new song and it rocks!!! Make sure you get the 2 CD set with the DVD because it's even better than the cd...absolutely wonderful musicianship and funny!!! 5stars all the way!! The revamping of Death to all but Metal is fantastic!

Un live "finto" epr questa band "finta" loro comunque sono eccezionali e da seguire. Ottimo hard rock da ascoltare senza molte pretese

I can't bring myself to rate anything by Steel Panther less than a perfect score. This CD/DVD combo pack is essentially Steel Panther's version of an MTV Unplugged. They perform a dozen or so of their hits acoustically with the banter and humor that we expect from Steel Panther. Fans of the band will want it, the haters will hate it.
