The Tea Party in the Woods Hardcover – Picture Book, August 1, 2015

This is so creative and always leaves us wondering. We love this book, so much that I have purchased for a few friends of our children for their Birthday. It is age appropriate for 2-6 year old I would say, maybe older, but my girls are 2 and 4 and they love this book as well. It's always a bonus to find books that my husband and I enjoy reading as well. Everything about this book is really great.

Akiko Miyakoshi, a female artist and writer, captured one's heart in this book by showing compassion, encouragement, kindness, gentleness and so much more through the animals actions in the woods.Her artwork is highly skilled, inviting, and uniquely done in charcoal. Unusual for a children's book in my experience.A delightful gift to buy for a individual child, group of childrenn or a family, multigenerational too.I highly recommend one purchase many copies and give to all people.

Granddaughter loved it, great little story and loved the artwork. It is a wonderful little book!

Sweet story, beautiful illustrations, just unique all around! It’s been a favorite of ours for years so I finally bought it after checking it out of the library so many times.

I love everything about this book. The kindness, the simplicity, and especially the illustrations. We had a lovely hard-cover copy that we handed on when we moved overseas, but I immediately bought a digital copy to take with us. I’ll likely buy another physical copy, because I read it to my son so often.

We read this over and over.

One of my daughters favourite stories this summer. A delightful story and the artwork is glorious. An absolute treat.
