A carpenter friend told me a story how he used this to seal up his RV trailer. 10+ years later he sold that RV & this stuff was still holding strong. With his recommendation, I ordered a few tubes to use on my RV.I'm impressed how well it performs! It lays down nicely, & looks excellent on my RV trailer. It stopped the leaks at the seams, & appears to be holding up well. If I ever have more seams that become an issue, I WON'T hesitate to spend the money to order more of this! Solar Seal #900 works for me!This stuff is EXPENSIVE, but it works well!

Worked great did the job

I first came across this sealant product 10 years or so ago when I saw my professional siding installer using it. I'm an engineer with decades of heavy construction and construction material experience and this product really impressed me. It's pricey but way better than any product you can buy at the local hardware or lumber store. The adhesion properties are off the chart and the material remains very tough while still mildly elastic. All of my applications were metal to concrete and/or metal with minor joint movement. Guessing how stiff it sets up, it probably would not be suitable for joints expected to experience any substantial movement but you would have to contact the manufacturer for specifics.

This is the stuff you need for your metal roof. Worth price, but if you purchase too much like I did, it cost me $17.00 to return 3 tubes via UPS, the only return option for this product. So order exactly what you need.

We lost forty hip shingles on north side of house due to hurricane Ian. None of the hips were sealed on north side, south side was. I used this product to adhere both corners on all shingles. Their literature recommends it’s use on asphalt shingles and they are rock solid. I wanted a clear product versus black tar substance.

Solar Seal Works to Seal areas exposed to harsh weather forever a one time Seal for life. However it is Too Expensive to Buy on Amazon.
