Our feeders have an extremely reliable delivery system utilizing an auger to move feed from the hopper to the impeller which blows it into the water. This reliable technology has been used for years to move and distribute feed and we wouldnÕt use any other mechanism in our feeders.ÊThe auger is very precise and consistent andÊdoes not damage the fish feed like other feeder systems.ÊThe Vertical impeller broadcasts the feed between the distances of 5 and 50 feet in a pie shaped pattern covering about 30 degrees of arc. Feeder Function: The powerful motor spins the large, 8 fin impeller plate similar to those used in industrial air moving systems. This creates a superior feed distribution than systems with smaller, diagonal impellers. Handles a large variety of feed: 1/8 to 1/2 pellet, and no feed is dropped within 5 feet of the feeder. This is the most reliable and time tested technology for directional fish feeders.

Never do business with this company. Really worth zero stars.
1)I bought a deer feeder called the "Complete Package" which was about $1200. Halfway through assembly out on my ranch in the middle of nowhere, I was disappointed to discover that critical parts were missing, including multiple nuts and screws.2) Then I find that the "Complete Package" requires the buyer to drill 8 holes in the unit which sould have been predrilled. Nowhere does the company tell one that the unit cannot be hung if he is unable to drill these out in the field. Who carries around a drill and multiple bits to assemble something that should be ready to put together?3) The hook attached to the winch cable is too large to fit in the small hole in the metal feeder hanger. A swivel is necessary which is, of course, not included.4) No instructions come to tell one how to attach the cable to the winch reel. The instructions and diagrams are generally inadequate. Thank goodness for Youtube.5) Even with legs, when the cage is attached to the bottom of the unit to keep out critters, it prevent lowering the unit to the ground, making filling the feeder a challenge.6) The cap on the solar panel wiring was ill fitting and loose, allowing moisture to penetrate the wiring.7) The company never responded to emails sent on their own website, and never answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days. Needless to say, they never replaced the missing parts. I had to get these myself at Ace Hardware.8) I never write reviews, but the quality control and customer service of Sweeney Feeders is so pathetic that I felt compelled to warn others about the company.

Defective fish feeder/poor company response
Have ordered prior fish feeders without problems. Consumer service did send a new controller when feeder failed to work, but after several conversations and great frustration and personal expense, found out that feeder motors would not run together because the feeder was not wired correctly. Also the included battery was not powerful enough. Once I paid to have the feeder wired properly and bought a stronger battery, after a year of no food for the fish, the feeder finally works.
