Hard to find
Hard to find sewing machine needles in this size. Schmetz is a reliable company so I feel secure that the quality is good. I will use them for sewing light weight, fine material , such as silk.

The best needles at a great price
Love Schmetz microtex needles, this listing is a great price for them.Edit: an earlier version of this review stated I received the wrong size. I did not! The size was right!! Perfect in every way, I mixed up boxes.

You get what you pay for
I have tried buying cheaper needles and have had nothing but trouble with them...in all my machines, I have 7! I went back to the schmetz needles as I think they are the best!

Won't use anything else when piecing my quilts
After much trial and error to obtain that perfect 1/4" seam, I've learned how important the perfect size needle and thread are. Now, I only use Microtex 70/10 on all my quality quilting cottons, as well as Aurifil thread. The Microtex 70/10 needles make the perfect hole to accommodate Aurifil 50 wt thread . . .but not so large it skews the seam. Since I change my needles after every 8 hours or so of sewing, this box is more economical.So if you struggle with getting that perfect 1/4" seam, try this needle in 70/10 along with Aurifil 50 wt thread.However . . .if you order these from World Weidner, you'll want to know, they do not arrive in the bulk packaging described in the description and shown in the photo. They arrive in 20 little plastic resale containers . . .extremely inconvenient to store.

Good quality
I'm still undecided about these needles...some had to be immediately replaced as they were catching like they had a burr.
