Sharp. They work well but very heavy. I like them after getting used to the wright. The adjustable tension is great.

I have a little favorites bin that I have my favorite shears in and this made it in less than 1 day. Excellent quality, not too heavy and sits with my big boys like my $150 shears in grab-ability (i own 15+ shears). i enjoy the length of them the most, especially for outline trims and tails that I want to cut and blend. Being a professional groomer for 8 years, half of those years within the vet industry these came as a pleasant surprise as to how quality has come up in the budget category. GET THESE, you wont regret it!

They squeak when I’m cutting with them but I put some blade oil on it and they sound better

If your just starting out in grooming or have been doing so for years you’ll like these. It’s definitely bang for your buck.I use them daily at work I don’t have a complaint.

These are heavy and long so hard to use in tight spaces. They do cut very well.

I am a professional Groomer of 11 years. I was a little bit leary of purchasing these thinning shears because of the price but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. These have a good weight and feel to them and come sharp. They are definitely worth the low cost.

I have been a groomer for a long time and am used to buying expensive shears. I decided to give the 8" chunkers a try and I was pleasantly surprised. They were sharp and cut the way I expected. My only complaint really is that they are quite heavy which on a big groom can get tiring on my hand.

These were the second pair I have of these , first pair were brill , but this pair aren’t properly aligned and therefore don’t cut the hair at the top end !

I had read several amazon reviews on various scissors before deciding to give these a go. Reviews didnt seem too bad, but unfortunately these are quite possibly the worst grooming scissors I have ever bought in my 19 years of buying scissors.First thing I saw when opening the box was a note with instructions on how to repair them if they wont work (That itself should have been a warning) The scissors themselves looked nice, although were a bit heavier than expected. As for cutting, I couldn't possible say as the scissors would not close. the teeth constantly caught on the blade causing the scissors to lock. Now, I know you can get issues like this with thinners however these blades were clearly not even aligned properly and no amount of lubrication or adjusting the tension was going to fix that! The ''how to repair'' note had a barcode to scan which took me to a YouTube tutorial. Firstly this was not in English so I have no idea what the guy was saying!? secondly he just seemed to be randomly snipping the scissors in mid air - not showing the scissors closing or how to align the blades! Interestingly all the comments on the video were from fellow amazon shoppers who were having the same issues with the scissors and they were all saying how useless they are, that the video was not a help and that they were being returned... which makes me question all the good reviews I had read on here first and wonder if some of them had been the old ''leave us a good review and we will refund you'' con.
