Great to have on the workbench
Accurate and easy to use. I have a number of Nomad products and this is a fine addition to the family.

Very convenient
Nice tool to have so I don’t have to do neck relief by feel and trial/error. Works great. No grease. Nice and clean and precise.

ANOTHER Great Music Nomad Product!
I’ve acquired a few Music Nomad products over the years. They are an American owned company, and the owner Rand, is still very involved with their success. This neck relief gauge is a great addition to my collection. Many people online and different Facebook guitar groups have suggested many different ways to get the correct neck relief on your guitar. I have even posted a procedure using a business card at the 7th fret I learned from my local luthier. This is So Much Better! The Pick Capo is a brilliant idea and having just three feeler gauges to select from makes it easy to use. You just follow the instructions on the gauge set and Viola, all done. A standard set of feller gauges has a bunch to find the right one and some sets have an oil on them to keep them from rusting I guess. Any product from Music Nomad will meet your needs and They stand behind them too. The picture doesn’t even show all of what I have to help setup and maintain my guitars.

Easy for a beginner to be use
This made it easy to set up my basses and guitars. It's pretty foolproof, and makes the truss rod less scary.

Not Sure About This
This feeler gauge kind of contradicts OEM factory relief recommendations for guitars. I used it once, seemed to be off measurement, and went back to the factory spec recommendations using a .010 feeler gauge at the 8th fret. I don't think I'll use this gauge again.

My Guitar Plays Perfectly!!!
I've played guitar for 35 years and never ever set up my action ever. I thought it was a black art voodoo thing and didn't want to break my truss rod. I had a nice guitar with a broken neck so it was time. Bought a neck and a stewmac straightedge, a fret guru2, and this feeler gauge. Making the neck straight and lowering the strings to where my favorite guitars had them it played ok but no sustain. This tool with the 6th fret trick and the strings around 0.03" from the frets on the high E and 0.04" on the bass side and I must say - my guitar plays perfectly. It's kind of scary actually. This tool and more importantly - the technique it teaches will make you want to switch professions and become a master of the dark art of guitar action setup. This made my decade!!!

Does what it is supposed to.
Yes it is expensive for three feeler gauges. You can get a lot more for a lot less if you buy an automotive set. What is nice about these is they have ONLY what you need for the job, there isn't any machine oil on them, so you don't end up with machine oil on your guitar and the cover panels include instructions so you don't have to guess at which way to turn your truss rod. A good thing if you only use it twice a year. All three of the gauges measured exactly what they should as you can see in the three pictures above.
