Does the job
Good value for money. However there is a flaw designed in the device, namely, increasing the light intensity will reduce the rpm of the fan. I have used various power supplies for this, thinking that the first psu I tested did not have enough juice, but the result was always the same. Also, the aligator clips are not great. Overall though and for the price I would buy it again.

Good Product, some shortcomings.
Good product, arms are stiff, unfortunately the fan and light is run off the same power supply that can’t handle the load, when you have the light on, the fan runs at about 25% speed.Otherwise very good value for money.

Fan is good but crocodile clips are very weak!
Hi there,I received this fan yesterday and I gave it a try today. The fan works fine and the different luminosity settings are definitely a plus. However, the crocodile clamps are too weak. I've just broken two. This is definitely something that needs to be improved.Kind regards,Laura

Wrong size spanner
The unit seems to be solid components, but sadly instruction of assembly a lacking and larg spanner does not fit the main extractor/light fitting.

Solder smoke fan and light
Solid bit of kit( quite heavy for size). Have not used it fully yet but do not envisage any problems. One thing, it was not supplied with any assembly instructions? wasn't a problem as far as I was concerned but could be for others. However am well satisfied with it and worth cash I paid.

Gets the job done
Good product and well made. I was worried the fan wouldn’t be powerful enough but it’s pretty good and does a good job of removing solder fumes. Be sure to use an adapter of 2A minimum.

Can't seem to run on full on any supply
Even using a USB supply capable of 3A, using the light on full with the fan on caused overheating issues particularly in the cable.
