easy to handle, cut and apply… looks good… used several times in different applications.last use I had to cover a large area and overlapped it believing it will cover the area better… it lasted for about 6 months and it came loose on the overlaps.if you need to cover a big area look for other options that have larger formats… found one that has 16” x 60” rolls.

I used this on a driver-side door interior elbow-rest surface on a 2003 Infiniti i35. I made the repair without taking the door apart, by first making a template using some adhesive clear plastic roll film (24" wide roll normally used as carpet and floor protection during home remodeling). I pressed the adhesive film into place, and took a new exact-o knife pen and carefully cut the plastic without cutting the armrest underneath. Once I had the plastic template cut, I peeled it off the armrest area and re-stuck it to the MastaPlasta which I had taped down to a piece of cardboard. I then used another new exact-o blade and cut out the MastaPlast material, then peeled off it's backing, and carefully applied it to the armrest area, working the outer perimeter in place first, then pressing into place inwards toward the door, finally tucking in to the crevice where the armrest meets the door. Worked out beautifully. I did a similar repair to the center console lid on the same car. I highly recommend this product, others I tried were just not sticky enough ( I was able to use contact cement, ultimately) and were not as robust as the MastaPlasta material.

It's a little difficult to get this patch applied evenly on curved surfaces, particularly in the heel cup. Warming both the orthotic and the piece of repair tape you will use in a 200-degree oven helps make it more pliable.Don't try to completely peel the backing and stick the whole piece on at once. Instead, peel one end of the backing and fold it under. Attach that one end, aligning the rest against the object you're covering, then peel the backing slowly from underneath, towards the opposite end, smoothing with your fingers as you proceed.

I previously tried using a piece of duct tape to cover the cracked area on the driver's seat, but that tape moved from seat movement during sitting. I bought this upholstery tape, cleaned the cracked area, and then carefully applied and trimmed the tape. This tape is very sticky so I applye it on the seat very carefully to avoid any creases or wrinkles. The tape is a close match to the grey seat cushions and after several weeks of summer heat this tape has held tight and has not moved on the cushion. Works great.

Quality, Price and fast delivery

The media could not be loaded. I did use this product in my car driver's seat which had a small damage on the dark leather before. In the last 60 days this mastaplast started peeling off. (Pic attached) 😫... I need to find something stronger.
