Great affordable Well Made 4K Crisp Clear HD TV For The Money
This TV was an excellent buy for me. It is clear, bright and has excellent hd quality. When I can find 4K video, then it shines because the 4K looks so good. The speakers on it are okay like any other speakers on any other TV, but I don't care because I use my own amplified speakers, so I just hooked my speakers up to them and of course that worked out well for me. The colors, brightness, clarity on this TV is excellent and the settings menu is excellent also. My old 1080P LG LED 40 Inch HD TV that blew out on me that I replaced this Sceptre with I am very happy with this purchase. 4K is really what every one says that it is, because I was amazed at the clarity and clearness of this TV while playing a 4K video streaming from YouTube and I am totally looking forward to watching other future 4K content on this beautiful excellent 4k TV. The Remote feels excellent in my hands and it is easy to use and very solidly made. My old LG Flat screen 40 inch TV would heat my whole entire room up with heat, but this Sceptre hardly gets warm what so ever and I live in Cali, so keeping cool is a necessity & this TV stays cool and keeps my small bedroom cool that I have it in. Video Games from my gaming consoles and my gaming PC and my nVidia Shield Pro looks excellent on this TV, very clear, vibrant and no lag or slow down while gaming. Attached to my home theater set-up this TV totally fits in and totally slays it and totally rocks, A+ rating hands down especially for the money I spent. For the money you can't go wrong with this TV because it is an excellent choice being how much it cost and the quality you get for the money that you spend, this TV simply can not be beat. I am so happy that I purchased it and I will most definitely purchase another Sceptre TV again. I had a Sceptre Computer Monitor that lasted over 8 years. I wish this company would make all kinds of other products because they are an excellent company and they make very good solid dependable beautiful styled excellent priced affordable products that I will never hesitate to purchase over any other name brand in the Technology business. Don't hesitate to purchase tis TV because it is excellent, do not listen to the naysayers because they do not know what they are talking about.

As a monitor: Great. As a TV: Not so much.
I have owned this TV for a couple of months now and I feel I know enough about it to write a review.I use this mostly as a monitor for my Mac Book Pro. Occasionally I use it to watch broadcast TV for a football game.Pros:1. The picture quality is really good. To my eyes (I'm not a professional) the picture is exceedingly clear and bright.2. Light weight.3. Very thin. I doesn't stick out very far from the wall.4. I paid less than $250. That's a great value.Cons:1. The built-in speakers are horrible. They aren't just a little bad, they are really, really bad. I bought a digital to analog convertor (PROZOR Digital to Analog Converter DAC Digital SPDIF Toslink to Analog Stereo Audio L/R Converter Adapter with Optical Cable for PS3 Xbox HD DVD PS4 H) and a mini headphone amp (BEHRINGER MICROAMP HA400) and I listen through headphones. I will eventually buy a sound bar. If you are going to want to listen to the audio from this TV plan on using something else other than the internal speakers.2. The audio outputs are Analog: RCA L&R and Digital: Optical. There is no RCA Digital Out. Your choices for digital output are PCM and 5.1. Keep this in mind when you are shopping for the necessary external audio system3. The tuner is very frustrating. The only way you can add Channels to the channel list is by executing the auto search function. So if your antenna has to be adjusted for different channels (like mine) you are in for a world of frustration. You cannot manually add channels. Every time you run the auto search all of your existing channels including your favorites list get cleared. Worse yet, if you select a channel on your list and the tuner doesn't get a strong signal, it deletes that channel from the list. The bottom line is this: If you're going to use this as a computer monitor it's a great buy. If you are buying it as a TV and you are planning on using an antenna, you may want to think twice.

Great TV, Okay Sound, Excellent Value!
I was a little worried about getting this TV for such a low price ($229.99) but I'm glad I did! I've heard of the brand but have never owned any products from Sceptre. I've had it about a week now. I'm using it as a 4k computer monitor. It's connected to a GTX 1070 graphics card, that supports 4k resolution @ 60hz. Firstly, it looks really nice in person, slim bezels, clean edges, really low profile. It's REALLY light weight and it has ample connections for your video input. Next, in my opinion i think the colors and everything looks great. I watched a few 4k videos from YouTube and they all looked amazing! Reminds me of how I felt when 1080p was the new thing. The audio is a little fickle. Seems to go in and out. It does get pretty loud tho. This isn't really an issue for me, as I can get PC speakers if need be. If using as a TV then maybe I would get a soundbar or something more reliable. Not gonna knock any stars tho. Set up was easy, just attach the 2 legs to the bottom. It even came with a screw driver! I would recommend this TV to whomever!

Very disappointed that I had not seen the LG tv before ...
You get what you pay for, yet I just paid less on here for the same size LG tv and there is a stark difference. Very disappointed that I had not seen the LG tv before purchasing this. However it works, the picture is decent but the sound is horrible. You need to turn it up to hear the dialogue but the echo is cringeworthy. It's an okay tv for the price unless you find a super deal like the LG similar tv on here.
