When my son lost the charger to his new Canon camera, an internet search found several sources for compatible charging devices, some of them upwards of $25 to $50. This charger was the least expensive at $1.65, priced so low that I suspected it wouldn't work at all. But at that price, it was worth a try. When received the device charged the dead battery at a fairly prompt rate. It didn't overheat, vibrate, or otherwise indicate any type of problem, it just charged the battery. A bonus was that the shipment included a workable car charger, along with the standard wall charger. Two chargers at a bargain price have created a very happy customer.

After misplacing our OEM camera charger on a road-trip, we purchased this aftermarket one for much less to replace it. This charger works great and has the added benefit of a car charger adapter so that you can use it on the road as well.
