I love this book & will be purchasing more soon! The size is just perfect for my 4-7 year old beginners. The cover even feels great! Inside it's broken down & worded exactly as I teach. The printing is big & has a relaxed feel/layout. It may be short, but hits all the key concepts with perfect wording so the price seems fair to me. Have also ordered the other available book in the series.

Great little book. Short and sweet. Between this book and a couple of videos on you tube on how to hold the sticks, I'm able to start jamming to some basic patterns. My 6 yr old loves it. Works for many, many ages

Am teaching young lad to play the drums, this little book is the perfect introduction to reading the dots.

Bought this for a student and I use it as mini 'sight reading' exercises in the lesson and then implement the beats into songs of her choice. She's only 10 but I believe this booked has helped her read notation very well.

Fantastic book, well written for a child (and me as a novice) to understand. Illustrations are great and really engaged my daughter. She has read from start to finish so far and is looking forward to practicing the basics as soon as it's reasonably acceptable to do so, and the neighbours won't complain for it being early! Look forward to the next book.
