tripod rubber end-foot falls off. I guess I will dab some silicone caulk/glue in the little boot and shove the leg inside. Otherwise, tripod legs seem ok. There are no instructions about how to mount the tripod to the flashlight. It took a couple minutes before I realized that a threaded hole that already has a setscrew in it is where you're supposed to screw it into. Its a pretty coarse thread and turns in less than a full turn before it bottoms out, so be careful not to try and screw it in too far. I have my doubts about how many times you can disassemble/reassemble it,or how well it would survive being dropped or tipped over and strips the thread on the aluminum cap. Light is fairly bright.

Handy flashlight for hands free moments.
Very convenient flashlight with tripod for those moments when you need hands free lighting. This 9 LED flashlight is great to have with you anywhere, the tripod makes it so much easier to deal with whatever you need when you need to use both hands and don't have a headlamp type of flashlight. The tripod is almost 7 inches tall and can be propped anywhere, thanks to the moving legs, you can adjust to any uneven ground or surface. The rubber like material on the legs give the tripod a bit of a grip and stability. The body of the flashlight is metal, something always a plus for flashlights of small size, as they're usually carried and handled a lot, so, durability is always a required point for my gadgets. The battery pod housed inside the flashlight shows you which direction to put your batteries in, and an arrow shows you how it should be loaded into the flashlight. I love it that small flashlights now have these pods for the battery, much better than the old school ones you had to push the batteries in, and they used to get stuck and was so inconvenient...If you can't see the direction for loading the batteries - because it's printed in black; the battery negative side is always put towards the little spring in the pod. Anyone who uses battery operated gadgets know that. The flashlight attaches itself to the tripod right at the end of it's body, and the swivel on top of the tripod, gives you the mobility of pointing it to whichever direction you need, even straight up. You can always unscrew it from the tripod and carry the flashlight in your pocket if you need. The LED's are bright and the battery lasts quite a long time. A very simple and efficient flashlight for emergencies and for working hands free. The packaging is very nice and well made, protecting the product on transport. I just wished that it was made in the USA instead of china, as this product was designed in the US by an American company. Let's keep the jobs in this country people!!Although I purchased this item discounted, my opinions are true to the uses I put it through.

Omg thank you, this came at the exact moment that we needed it. I received in the mailbox right before I needed it to have a flashlight. I was using my headlights to help my husband see while he worked on my friends vehicle. But the headlights were just blinding him. That's when I remembered the package in the back.I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. And I am so recommending to everyone. It comes with a flexible tripod that will is optional to use. The lights are bright and it works amazing.

Pretty decent little light
Pretty decent little light.Tripod is a nice feature. Makes it great for taking photos of something small. Legs on the tripod are pretty stiff though, not as bendy as I would like. However, it is pretty sturdy, stays in position. Haven't had a problem with it falling over or anything.Light is really bright, but unfortunately doesn't have a very good spread. Keeps a very straight beam, not a lot of diffusion.3 AAA batteries required, not included. Please note, I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
