Any Star Wars collector will be fully aware of the rich heritage of the humble Star Wars action figure. Before the line of "normal" 3 3/4 inch figures ended, they became very basic, having just five points of articulation and very poor detail, with the likenesses often being quite bad too. The Vintage range, previously a slightly more expensive option, suddenly became the only choice, but at least the detail improved. Unfortunately the costs stayed high, and at this point the Black Series 6 inch figures aren't that much more expensive, but at least the detail and points of articulation have increased.
