MapedExpert Titanium Eco-Friendly 8.25 Inch Scissors - Precise Cutting - Recycled

I was buying dollar scissors for my kids but by the end of the year it all became dull so I bought 2 of these for both my kids (boy&girl) and they both love it! It cuts smoothly and feels sturdy. Unlike the other reviewer who said it was all black ours was the same as the photo blackish brown handle and brown blade (more of a coppery color) so depending on the vendor I think you get different colors but I'm sure the black would have been just as great! It is a neutral color so it's good for girl or boy :)

These are outstanding medium-sized office scissors. These right-handed scissors have and maintain a sharp edge and cut precisely and easily. Their coloration, with the scissor blades matching the handles, looks professional. (Although these scissors look a deep, rich brown in the picture, the two pair of scissors I ordered a year ago were both black. Nevertheless, if they had been all brown, as depicted, I don't think I would have been disappointed.)

I bought these in the hope of getting some quality scissors to have around the art studio. Beguiled by their slick and esoteric appearance, I threw 17 quid at them- that's about a pound per cm.Here's what I got:Pride of ownership- zero. Don't let anyone spot these around your habitat, they might assume all manner of things about your taste and ability to distinguish quality. Poor finish to the blades, very cheap nasty plastic handles stamped "made in China" both sides. Like I couldn't tell that. From a Christmas cracker or a Kinder egg they'd be fine- ok thanks for the scissors. As a pound per cm purchase you will be incredibly disappointed. Do not give these as a gift, you will not be thanked and will be castigated as cheap. Do not buy them for yourself- you will feel hard done by and rightly weep spending your future lusting after proper scissors- those that come apart for cleaning, or have some better plastic to offer. These do not feel like a branded item and if I was a brand, I would feel dishonourable hawking these. Avoid.

These were nicely designed - but the handle was really cheap and nasty feeling, really plasticy with casting marks; no good for regular or prolonged use.Returned mine - much better quality scissors avaliable at the same or similar price.

Excellent value for money. Bought a Scotch but returned it to buy one of these instead that proved far superior!
