Not really sold on this being "100% boar bristle". Unless there are nylon-haired boars running around now.This thing WILL exfoliate your face. And it IS aggressive.Semogue attempted to come out with an all-black boar bristle shaving brush in the last decade. They couldn't. Not enough black haired boars running around on the Iberian peninsula, I guess.I'd give it 4, but not buying the claim.I will give it 5 if you are looking for something HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE and have facial problems that warrant a highly aggressive beard brush.So I hope you're reading and take the 3 star rating with a grain of salt---this thing WILL exfoliate your face with extreme prejudice.Stay tuned for edits as I get lazy and won't shave for days on end and this type of tool is EXACTLY what I need on days 3-4.And I typically will buy products on amazon if their star ratings of 3 and above add up to over 90%.

This is my second purchase of this product. Bristles are stiff enough to go nicely through my beard. I highly recommend it. If I was going to nitpick, packaging between the first and second brush was different. First brush was perfect. On the second brush the foam rings that hold the brush in the tin were malformed and flattened, making them worthless. I've included a picture of the first brush and the foam inserts.

Good product, however I had expected that it might come with some beard brush and/or beard care instructions. It's not rocket science, of course, but I think a little insert describing the proper care for the brush and proper beard grooming would really put this product over the top. Overall, I'm satisfied and this brush works well to exfoliate and groom my beard.

I was not entirely sure what to expect when I ordered my brush. Size, softness of bristles and storage were of my main concerns. However, once I received my order, all my concerns were absolved. The brush is the perfect size, and fits nicely in the palm of my hand. The size makes it easy to reach all of my beard, including the hard to reach contours. The bristles are extremely soft. I find myself wanting to brush my beard more often because of it feeling so nice. Lastly, the storage situation is not a problem. The tin that the brush came in works wonderfully to store and protect my brush. The only possible problem I have noticed is a few bristles that fell out of the brush, but I expected a few to fall out and have not seen any fall out since the first few uses. I do not have a thick or full beard by any means, but using the brush and a separate beard oil definitely help to make my beard look well maintained and more manly.

The manufacturing and quality control of the brush are poor. The logo was double stamped, doesn't affect the functionality of the product, just the look. The bristles were all frayed and poorly trimmed, so I had to trim it myself. The bristles however are nice and stout, so we will see how well it holds up since other portions of the manufacturing seem lax.

Nice compact beard brush.Medium stiffness bristles. Loses a bristle once in a while, but seems like good quality.Wish the tin it came in was smaller so I could keep it in my jacket pocket.

The brush is actually quite nice. However, I bought it because it was advertised as being travel-sized. The brush is nice and small, but the tin is massive and takes up way to much space. Sure the padding inside is nice, but totally unnecessary. If you're looking for a beard brush with a travel sized protective case, look elsewhere.

Good size for my hand and after a few weeks the bristles are holding up well. The stiffness and length of the bristles make application of beard balm thorough and even in my short beard. All in all an excellent purchase.
