The product was shipped in time. Good service from vendor. The only issue with the rubber tip was installing onto the metal door stop. The head on one side of the door stop was larger and it was harder to install. Other than that, the product works great.

Tight fit, so a bit hard to put on - but that should mean they stay on well.

Initially they look like opening might be too small. Further examination shows a ring (I highlighted in red) on inside of hole. Almost looks like a thread. Once you snap on cap to spring, then spin cap on spring till it bottoms out. They are very beefy compared to the original caps (almost an 1/8 of an inch all the way around). They are tight on spring once installed. I don’t expect them to come off without the help of my puppy. I will follow up with durability and staying power, but till then, I’m very happy with them.

They do not fit on my door stops.

I have baseboard spring door stops with thin rubber tips that were installed fourteen years ago when house was new. Those tips are dried-out, cracked, and discolored (many would fall off too, if something hit them).Like other reviewers, I couldn't find replacement tips in any stores (only sold entire door stop which I didn't need).I ordered these and took a small risk ($9.99) that they may not fit (some reviewers stated they had a hard time getting tips on or weren't able to get them on at all).One reviewer (Thank You!) said that he wasn't able to get them on UNTIL he removed stop, placed tip on floor with open end facing-up and pushed the stop down into tip. So, I tried that technique first and voila!...the tip snapped-on easily and was a nice snug fit. I had twelve tips replaced in a matter of minutes. There was no need to soak in hot water, place lube inside, or worse, cut inside ridge (which would make for a bad or loose fit) like others have tried.Also, these tips are much thicker and more substantial than the original tips on my door stops and will probably last much longer.Such a small thing (replacement tips) but makes me happy that they fit so nicely and are clean and white (see photo below).FYI- The spring for my door stops were easily removed with just a slight turn (either clockwise or counter) and pull motion and went back-on with a firm push.

Very stiff. Too hard to just snap unit on to door stop. Had to carve out portion of interior to snap iton to door stop.

The package of "Ultra Hardware Door Stop Replacement Rubber Tips" contains more pieces - 49 in the bag I received - than you may ever need. The rubber tips are white and of much higher quality than those that are available in the big box hardware stores.The tips are about 1/2" in length. The opening at the back of the tip is approximately 5/16" in width and there is an inner lip that helps keep the tip firmly on the door stop. The lip's opening is approximately 1/4" in width. This makes inserting the door stop into the tip somewhat challenging. I found that angling the rubber tip so that it fit onto the top of the door stop and then firmly pushing on the bottom of the rubber tip so that it finally fit over the door stop worked well.If you are in need of replacement rubber tips for your door stops, I recommend "Ultra Hardware Door Stop Replacement Rubber Tips" . At a cost of about $ .145 each, these are a bargain.

took ages to arrive then too small

I've been searching for this for quite some time but was unable to find it in neither Home Depot nor Rona. the rubber tips at our home all fell off and this is a perfect fix to it. the only thing to know is that it didn't fit well at the beginning but I put it to the hot water to expand a bit, then it fits in well.

Despite appearing grey in the on line images the product is white as indicated in the literature. The real test is how long do they last but even though they are brand new so far I am very pleased. When installing the door stop you get a good idea as to how well they are built and each new stop that I put on was very sturdy. The bag of 50 will probably last a l;lifetime but they were very well priced by comparison to other offers.

My cat keeps chewing and destroying these tips so I'll be good for a little while with these 50 replacement tips. Could not find these in any of the big box stores, glad to find them on Amazon.Quality is better than expected, A+

They worked and we were grateful for tips. Putting them in hot water made popping them on the base much easier. We were just glad to find rubber ends. They are nowhere to be found at hardware stores.
