SKIL 6335-02 7.0 Amp 1/2 Inch Corded Drill , Red

For the price point, it's hard to beat. With Skil tools dropping in quality over the years, I was a bit skeptical. But for the price, I rolled the dice. Over all, the drill feels solid. It certainly has power too. If I would say anything negative, it would be that the drill feels a little nose heavy. For what I need it for, that's not a problem. But if you are balancing on a ladder, it might be a little cumbersome to use.

I was looking for a "manly" drill to do work my smaller battery ones had difficulty with. This baby is very powerful and handled the deep drilling project I had. Price was good, too. I"ve had excellent success with Skil products and recommend them for occasional handymen. I could have bought a much more powerful battery model instead, but they are more expensive and too heavy for the usual stuff I do. This one fit the bill perfectly.

Used on two jobs, one tough and one medium with great results. Drill handled perfectly and I really liked the leveler on top of red drill plastic casement which provided me with straight holes. Drill weight is fine for such a big drill. But most IMPORTANTLY, this is a powerful drill. My tough job was drilling holes through red brick masonry, no problem. The DEWALT DW1354 14-Piece Titanium Drill Bit Set $12.99, Amazon recommended combo with this drill, worked for my medium plaster/concrete wall job (as advertised) Had to buy two masonry drill bits totaling $12, for my tough red brick masonry job.

Great drill. Seems to have good build quality. Very sturdy, plenty of torque, good top speed. The handle is useful and easy to adjust. Comes with a chuck key. Cord is of average length. Holds up to lengthy sessions of high speed use without overheating.Only con I can think of is it doesn't come with a carrying case.Price is great for the overall quality. I'm pretty happy with mine. I mainly use it for polishing and waxing my car. So far it's holding up well.

I needed a drill that could handle a 6” hole saw cutting through 3/4” of plywood to male cornhole boards. I burned out a battery operated drill trying to do this. Man, this thing has some power as it will rip your arm off If you pull the trigger too hard and go too fast. This thing cuts through the Wood like butter, but go slow to save your limbs.I’m so over battery operated tools as they never have enough power.Some people complain about it being too powerful to drive screws. Just practice using the trigger and you’ll get the right speed/power for driving screws as well.This drill is worth every penny!

I bought this to use on a small project at home, not expecting it to last very long because of how cheap it is. I have had it for years now and have never had a problem with it. It was actually left outside and completely submerged by floodwater for nearly 24 hours. I found it under the house a few months later and was shocked to find that it still worked with no issue. I've used it to drill holes, install screws, stir paint, even mix grout.

Alright, I'm not a carpenter or anything but I've gone through a LOT of drills in my days and this is, by far, the most powerful drill I've ever used. This thing is a BEAST! My other most powerful drill was having trouble drilling through some metal. Switched the bit over to this drill and... WOW... THE POWER. Chewed through it like it wasn't even there.Just be careful! On one occasion, the drill bit did get stuck and man... the motor ripped the drill right out of my hands. And I mean, I was holding it pretty tight! It's just super powerful.Bottom line: I love this thing! I highly recommend it.

I bought this because I wanted something that I could plug in and it had a drill bit key that I could change drill bits with. It seems pretty strong and powerful at least powerful enough to use around the house on projects. It's very heavy though you cannot drill with one hand. I had to take the handle off in order to get it into tighter spaces. The head of a drill is very large and does not fit into tight spaces so you will have to get a longer extender to hold drill bits.

Buen producto con un buen torque y para lo que lo nesecito (carpinteria ligera) es muy bueno como atornillador dado su velocidad que justo por eso lo compre. Sin duda que no es industrial pero cumple muy bien como una gama profesional y con creces y mas aun por el precio. Eso si muy mal envio de amazon en la pura caja del producto y ya rota me llego. Por eso califico con 4 estrellas por el envio.
