I work in a role where I carry a laptop and some stationary between offices. I had wanted to switch from a backpack as I was worried about damage to suit jackets and wanted something I could carry in my hand for short trips around London. I came across this and was unsure as it seemed quite cheap and I wasn't sure it wold be well made enough, I'm glad to say I was wrong.The laptop compartment itself has a thin later of padding which combines with the rest of the structure to offer some protection. How much, I'm not sure - but as I don't plan to use it to push my way onto the bus it shouldn't matter too much. Compartments are well-stitched and there are enough to keep a diary, meeting notebook, power cord, small notebook and pen collection all separate in the main area without even beginning to use the other compartment (umbrella and gloves) or the two front compartments (kindle and mints). It also manages to hold a semi-rigid headphone case quite easily in addition to the laptop itself.Carrying handles do not seal together but fit snugly against each other. I personally like this although some may prefer being able to velcro them together. My only issue is the standard strap which is intended to be worn cross-body and has a shaped pad to allow for this - making it useless for people like me to wear it on one shoulder. A minor moan though and most of us have at least one strap knocking around somewhere.Overall I have been very pleased with this - it is small enough to use on the busses and tube (much more effectively than my backpack) but big enough to hold everything I need for meetings or working. I actually brought the larger version of this for my (older and bigger) personal laptop at home, I liked the brand so much.

This bag is very well made and re-inforced with good quality zips. It is cleverly designed and divided into many separate pockets. It has a well padded section at the middle of the bag for the laptop, further secured with a velcro strap. There are subpockets for all manner of things big and small, it easily accommodates all laptop bits and pieces, wireless mouse, mains cable as well as paperwork and presentation hdmi cables etc. In fact it seems to swallow things and is a bit of a tardis! It also stands up on its own when used and has strong handles and a shoulder strap if needed. Really pleased with this purchase, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. If you need a bag for carrying many things as well as providing good protection for your laptop then I would totally recommend it.

The bag had good compartments but the protection of the laptop at the base seemed a bit thin. I wanted this for work carring around a 15" laptop, charger, tablet, power pack and some files which fitted. But the quality of finish let it down. The elastic strap for the laptop was stiched poorly 30% unstitched and about 10 cm off centre so did not line up with the velcro. Picked this one because it had high ratings. Have returnbed it and going for another make.

I bought this laptop bag to replace a previous one that I purchased which turned out to be too small/short for my 14 inch Fujitsu laptop. I did not want to spend more than £20 on a laptop bag and I bought this one in an End of Summer deal.I can put everything in this bag that I would like to take with me if I go anywhere with my laptop including my laptop cooling platform, mouse, mouse pad, power cables, phone charging cables, USB hub, power bank, stationary, tablet etc.And I only noticed as I was packing at that it matches my laptop and all my laptop accessories which are black, red and silver!

Was wary buying a cheap bag for work but the reviews were great. it is very good quality for the money and stores everything I need to carry and more. Had 2 laptops and all associated peripherals together with a host of other mobile office gear. Coped no problems. It seems very robust and durable. Glad I did not buy anything more expensive.
