I've been looking for something like this for over a decade. The probe is very small, fitting easily into the ear canal. The picture quality is fantastic, and even better, the image autmatically orients so that you do not need to figure out where up and down are relative to how you hold the probe. You can thus rotate the spoon tip into any orientation within the ear without up, down, left and right getting shifted in the view. Setting up with your phone can be a little frustrating (use wifi, not bluetooth; allow location and network permissions...you may need to delete and reload the app if you do not choose the suggested options as there is no "settings" area to be found), but once you have that figured out, it is smooth sailing.

I bought this, because, why not? If it didn't work, wasn't effective, or I got too scared, I wasn't out too much $$$.I am asian, so I've heard our earwax tends to become more dryer than others, so I have earwax issues every couple years or so, and I get them cleaned out at the doctor's. While my insurance is good, seeing how much it would be to get the ears cleaned there (like $100+) while you do have the work holding a bowl up for an ear irrigation, kind of feels bad.When I get the earwax removed, it generally looks like rocks that are coming out of my ear. With this tool, I was able to pull 3-4 "stones" out, minimal irritation, and I can hear better. I'd post a picture, but it's probably a TMI thing.This tool for the price was pretty cool. There can be lag between your movement and video at times, and I also found the video focus to be an issue at times as well. If you're patient enough, those aren't really an issue. I highly recommend giving this a shot if you have earwax issues like me.This didn't get everything removed (and maybe it's me just being conservative/careful) but it removed the vast majority of it for my comfort level, especially on my 1st try.

Update- 1 week later this stopped working. The camera would not focus- it was great while it lasted- I am returning.This is so cool and gross at the same time.After having radiation, my ears get a lot of wax build up..I wish this came with “alligator clips” so that I could get more wax out.It has a lot of different attachments so you can clean them or use them on other family members

I’ve offered way too many people to clean their ears so far because it’s so fun to use. Super easy to connect and great image. Definitely worth the price if you regularly need to clean your ears. Also tried using it to get tonsil stones out and it works for that too (disinfecting in between).The battery life is pretty good too. Ended up buying one for my mom too

A advertisement popped up for this tool and got me interested to purchase it. I had been curious of my ear canals with wax build up and etc. I open up that package immediately upon arrival. The instructions were easy to use and there was a battery life to test how it worked. My ear canals were pretty much clean with little earwax build up. It’s so microscopic to see everything inside an ear canal. This is definitely a must needed tool.

I haven’t cleared my ear wax for 6 months. And the results showed as the pictures.I would said it really works. But the scoop is a bit sharp for skin. Just be careful when you are trying to take the ear wax out.And the graphics wasn’t clear as it shows as ads.It’s a bit blur. And camera can’t really showed 100% of everything in ear canal, the angle of the ear canal sometimes is a bit round.Still going to doctor to clear ear wax is the best choice, it’s much more safe.

THe camera is interesting, but unless the earwax is right at the opening, it has no capability. All the stuff about getting stuff near the eardrum would only apply to those with the very straightest of ear canals.I was a bit skeptical....and I was right. Back to the ENT for me.

I was skeptical that this type of device would give a clear picture, but this camera surprised me. It gives a really clear picture of what’s going on inside your ear canal! I am so impressed! You even have the capability to take pictures and videos. It’s really easy to use and to clean. I would recommend this for anyone that struggles with excess wax build up; this device makes it easy to remove. Highly recommend!
