Works great for over a year now.

I have been using this for more than 6 months and has made my life really exciting. I had a normal LED TV in my bedroom from 2011. I was really struggling to entertain myself, so was using chrome cast device and playing it from mobile.But this device has made it very easy with Netflix and Prime preinstalled. And you can download more like IP TV etc. It's a great device and coming from Xiaomi makes it even more worthwhile. I definitely will recommend anyone who wants to convert thier normal TV to a smart TV. It might not be the cheapest option but definitely one of the best.

This product contains Chromecast which supports 4kIt also has Android TV and a remoteFor those complaining about not being able to access prime videos you can cast it from any other device or just download it not from the play storeIt won't be perfect but it'll workOnly problem is sometimes it slow so if you want a very fast product go for the sheild pro but that's gonna set you back a few bucks

no need to look for a smart TV anymore as this tiny device will turn and old TV into a super smart TV even the old smart TV's will get a huge boost with this tiny compact device, it is super fast , no lags at all (except for Du View app and Amazon Prime sometimes think this is related to the app itself)everything is super smooth.Play-store provides a wide range of useful apps while you can side-load other apps if needed so sky is the limit here.the only downsize is the single USB port with low storage (8GB) but this can be easily eliminated with any USB hub and additional USB stick (16GB is enough)very responsive and compact with a 4K output, highly recommended.

I already have 8 pcs of this item. Bought my first one 4 years ago, and they still work until now. I bought a new one for travel.Note on those who are going to use these on hotels. The captive portal on most hotels might not open properly on the MiBox screen, the work around I found is to connect your phone to the wifi (do the captive portal there), turn off mobile data, turn on hotspot, then connect MiBox to the phone's hotspot. Download a browser app on playstore; this will fix captive portal connection on the MiBox

The Mibox S won't turn on at all using the remote control. I need to unplug/plug the power for it to turn on. The box is running the latest OS available, and everything is up to date.
